in general japanese crafts are overpriced..no doubt their quality is good.. but pricing wise always fail to impress...

the craftsmanship makes it expensive..its like buying the songket tenun here in malaysia that can cost up to rm10k! hand made baby hehehe

momotaro shop is near with my fren place at japan. can watch the process of making jeans live.

japanese brands generally expensive imo.

If you want to get started with Japanese denim, hit up the 2ndhand markets... Styleforum and Superfuture and even the much smaller Iron Heart forum are good sources to track down cheaper stuff, and it's mostly in excellent condition...
