yes, you are right. it's only raw denim but not selvedge. quite good for first timer. the reason that i bought this i get it slightly cheaper for RM140 due to Topman membership.

go for uniqlo, because it's raw and selvedge.

sea soak or whatever salt makes no difference.

although i've seen somewhere that salt could preserve the indigo colour .

ps: forget about Topman raws if your budget around rm200, just go for Uniqlo pls.

well it does not hurt trying... but i must say.... after the soaking... the jeans started to fade rapidly.... just a month after i sea soak (the pics was on may 2011)

whats with the obsession about topman raw @mizer? the denim is much worse eventhou its raw... just check out uniqlo S002 (straight cut) now selling for Rm129 with limited size (last time i see is around W30 the most), size down to 2 at least to have that slim fit look....

Nahh not an obsession, just that my friend says topman jeans are good in quality.

And just wanna ask for more opinions before buying

saw levis 501 vintage made in turkey selvedge and Unwased but not sure it is RAW or not ?
cause the material is softer but heavy and lot of wrinkle on it compare to LVC made in usa, evisu or Uniqlo material .
