here's an idea if you guys are interested in a competition
we are going to use the same denim material for the jeans but we can choose different fitting individually i can help you guys produce the jeans in indonesia, as i know one great jeans vendor, im going to take the jeans back to malaysia in the beginning of march the vendor is able to produce their own laser burn (not embossed) leather patch if you would like (you can decide a label (of this raw denim thread community or event name) and burn in the natural vegetable leather) and also any details like custom arcuate or even the famous hidden arcuate and hidden rivets as well here's the sample of the denim material available: SELVAGE DENIM » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « INDIGO » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « BLACK » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « available cutting: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « some details: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(dominicpcl @ Jan 2 2012, 06:05 PM) i would want to get a pair of raw denim, i've do some reading over here and i think i wanna get a simple pair of raw denim. you can get unbranded at Actually store in Bangsar Village IIcheese skinny13 unbranded UB101 nudies thin finn naked and famous skinny guy any recommendation and where can i get it? i know musa stock N&F, cheese at 1U and that is all i know. please help to enlighten me. thanks i have no idea about the cheese denim, go for unbranded if you are on a tight budget, it is quite better in quality compared to the double price you pay for a non selvage nudie nudies if you are fancying the backpocket stitching naked and famous for the huge selection of denim material otherwise go for apc which is more to my liking |

QUOTE(xhalbanx @ Jan 17 2012, 03:08 PM) hi..where did you custom made your jeans? was thinking about custom made one for myself.. and how much it cost you? the material and labour cost? thanks i order it from a denim vendor in bandung, they produce jeans for some local brand around RM130-150 for raw and RM200 for selvedge the price includes hidden rivet, copper button and rivet cowhide leather patch and custom arcuate you can add all the details you want, like hidden arcuate, chambray pocket and even custom laser burned leather patch to make your own brand sadly custom button and rivet is only applicable for mass order im ordering a 15oz heavy indigo, hope the fit is good This post has been edited by kevin190791: Jan 17 2012, 06:36 PM |

QUOTE(xhalbanx @ Jan 18 2012, 09:52 AM) ooh..i tot u custom made somewhere in KL.. it is hard to find it in KL, i heard in bandung u can even custom your jeans for rm 35 ...not really sure the shop...RJ jeans if not mistaken... rm 200 for custom selvedge is kinda worth... is anyone ever tried viapianaviapiana? italian custom jeans based in bangkok if not mistaken...green selvedge also available... i used to ask some tailor in Pertama about customizing jeans..and they really accept order...around rm150 per jeans but the finishing is not really up to my standard....judging from a sample they show me... i means the labour work is not really "kemas"... the material use is kinda so-so and nothing to complain for rm 150... but if the tailor can sew it better, i might be doing one.... there's a bunch of custom denim tailor in indonesia one of the very good one is the batavia custom jeans, they used the union special 43200g they even imported the denim material from japan-korea and use premium material for the details i can help you to order if you want to, im in indonesia until the end of february, but first let me make sure that the denim quality is good yes, i heard viapiana produce great denim, i really hoped he is going to KL again this year |

QUOTE(Grimm @ Jan 21 2012, 06:13 PM) What a beauty hahahaYou want durability, try iron heart. I think the flathead might wear out too fast for your liking. Added on January 21, 2012, 6:20 pm That's not half bad Was it a really close replica? Either way, you know we don't support replicas here or any other place so.. Don't take it too bad if some people here ask you to piss off =/ the fit is pretty close to grim tim imo, nope, the backpocket stitching looks different a bit its okay bro, i'm just sharing, it is actually a gift from my lil bro when he was in thailand he couldn't afford a real nudie so he was giving me a fake one for my birthday, i really love the jeans thats why i'm sharing it here i gave him the real deal on his birthday last year though This post has been edited by kevin190791: Jan 21 2012, 07:09 PM |

QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Feb 1 2012, 05:48 PM) guys, yours are 100% raw jeansthanks for the info! i guess i dun hv to worry for not soaking it first ..all that is left to do is to stretch them out would this mean mine are not 100% raw m i eligible to join this "fade" competition? both unsanforized or sanforized jeans are 100% raw, the only difference is that sanforized jeans had gone through sanforization process which include shrinking(moisting through steam) , stretching and fixing the denim to achieve minimal shrinkage after it is washed for the first time, and yes, you are 100% eligible to join this competition, for more information about the competition, look for this site www.mydenim.justgoo.com |

QUOTE(soulquarianz @ Feb 1 2012, 07:02 PM) i want to create a sense of history of denim by adding the scissors, representing the making of denimhmm, but gun seems like an good idea, since jeans represents the icon of a cowboy, gun would work then btw the foundation of line below the 2012 represents the structure of a twin tower if you take a good look at it |
