QUOTE(Emery @ Dec 26 2011, 06:06 PM) Nice stacks. On another topic, I've searched high and low about how to cuff/roll the jeans length. I got some ideas but any suggestions from sifus here? I'll post the fit pics soon so I hope you guys can advise. In the meantime Pics of virgin: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(xhalbanx @ Dec 27 2011, 05:03 PM) good news guys...i'm willing and more than happy to sponsor a small prize for the winner of this competition... welcome any gifts, especially if it's free. it is just a genuine leather bracelet with snap button... the bracelet were hand cut by myself... what do you all think? cheerss QUOTE(munk3y @ Dec 27 2011, 05:04 PM) hey guys, im gonna wash my nudies for the first time in 2 years, i think 2 years should be long enough. just wondering what is the best way to wash the jeans n what detergent should i use.? water temperature.? cause keep on seeing different methods of washing raw denim, would like toknow what u guys gotta say. read/heard from my lurking about washing raw denim among it was to turn it inside out and use vegetable soap to wash them if you don't have a proper denim wash available.CHEERS ! Let the sifus add from here. Btw, snap some pics before and after washing them. |

QUOTE(71ers @ Dec 28 2011, 10:23 AM) Congrats on your 0700SP. I have a pair too. I wear it with one cuff but i hemmed them to about 33 inseam. thanks man! i worry if i hemmed it before first wash the inseam is gonna shrink.Would be great to see another person in Malaysia wearing the Go To Battle stripes here right now i'll be doing 2 rolls/cuff and let them stack a bit. no wash for the minimum 6 months. Looks a bit weird, but those pictures of people wearing jeans from Lightning Magazine seem to be ok. Gotta respect them Japanese for pulling it off. QUOTE(ahtiven @ Dec 28 2011, 11:43 AM) whereabout in one utama? gonna check their FB to find out more. |

QUOTE(apsidewatch @ Dec 28 2011, 02:58 PM) thanks for the heads up. QUOTE(71ers @ Dec 28 2011, 04:10 PM) Don't worry about the shrinking, it is sanforised. So very minimal shrinkage. But if you can pull it off with cuffing and stacking together, why not, any fit pics ? been meaning to get some fit pics. Ill get them soon. But im kinda like the roll up look. |

QUOTE(apsidewatch @ Dec 31 2011, 04:01 PM) idk, so who's in? me,junkyman, others? anyone is welcomed to join if they got their jeans in nov or dec.we should set the rules.time frame, what brand, judges, etc. im suggesting we go with any raw denim bought during the month of december to be fair for Fades of 2012,how's that? we can compare 6 months progress by 1 july, 12 months by 1 jan 2013. get pre and post wash comparison.most votes wins. |

QUOTE(kevin190791 @ Jan 12 2012, 06:12 PM) im still roughing up mine, but no significant difference.Probably a seperate thread with clear guidelines is needed. QUOTE(treflip @ Jan 12 2012, 06:29 PM) any raw denim will stretch out after wear...dont worry bro..i know this person from singapore who works at this store called very woooonderland who owns a pair of unbranded skinnies as well....he cant button the top button the first week he wears it....instead hold it in with a belt...so just keep on wearing it...try sag them down everyday you wear em and try to stretch the waist so it stretches out..in no time it will stretch out and u can button it...try doing squat exercise in the jeans...that will help too... yeah, them raw jeans will stretch from my experience. I thought i was getting slimmer, but it was my jeans expanding. Feels bad man. QUOTE(apsidewatch @ Jan 12 2012, 09:41 PM) btw, is it me or that n&f skinny guy have small room for my balls? i find it squeezing mine pretty well.. the weird thing is i find that its comfortable during my early wears.. does my jeans shrink or my set is getting bigger? Your junk is getting bigger. |

QUOTE(nekonano @ Jan 18 2012, 11:46 PM) Lost the right pocket thanks to skating, yeah this was very loose for me. The color really faded over time. I guess wearing loose cuts won't give you the nice honeycombs & whiskers everyone desires You skate in those jeans?Pretty hardcore. QUOTE(Stinky Fart @ Jan 18 2012, 11:48 PM) I already have one. Its a stiffy14 by cheese denim. Wanted a nudie, but due to the vanity sizing I had to find a w26 and it sure is hard to find a w26, so went for cheese w28(smallest size they offer). Now it measures 31' lol any fit pics? Wanna see the fades from cheese denims. |

QUOTE(LAYANGLAYANG @ Jan 26 2012, 12:02 PM) Junky man, I got no problem button up. ^ yup, i agree with soul. If you have the money, go for the high end momos rather than jb x momo.
Had a strange encounter today. Was at a kids b'day party when suddenly the catering guy commented abt my jeans. Had a lengthy conversation with the guy. It was nice to meet in person a fellow denim head. |

QUOTE(treflip @ Feb 11 2012, 10:50 PM) you need to wear your raw jeans for at least 4-6 months before washing to get contrast fades like that.. Good tip about why to soak first. too late for me though.for me i'd go for 4 months but try wearing ur jeans hard...cycle in it...go concert moshing...running...jogging etc...if your jeans is wet coz of sweat hang it straight away under the fan asap or air dry...after 4 months do a hand wash as the first wash =) but for me i would soak it once before wearing it for the first time to open the fibres up for a nicer fade..an advise given to me by kiya of selfedge =) Probably a future pair i'll consider this. |
