Do you really need 1080p video recording?

Exactly, same question, do you need 1080p recording?

Just checked with NCC KL (Berjaya Times Square via phone) regards to Purplish Red Tint Issue. They are aware of it as they received Bulletin from HQ. But They have not find the source of the problem , they said it could be LCD problem, some other parts related to graphic card, or maybe motherboard which does not calibrate with this module... They need to check and rectify one at a time. They even told what is they change the LCD and problem is there.. They also mentioned thats is reason they have keep the set for couple of days to check and diagnose the issue..

Did any1 here did send their set to NCC for this issue?

Another issue I want raise here is after I updated to PR1.1, when i go setting/connectivity , there you will see this Network Section which does not show the Network you are using example : Digi / My Maxis or My Celcom.. But in PR1.0 it shows the network which we are in.. Does any1 notice that? I have tested few of my office staff who were using N8 before and after update PR1.1, they all got same issue..

Its ok if u want 1080p rec cap coz it will be a common thing in near future. Having extra features wont harm u. Just know ur needs. 4 me, if u can afford those wif full hd rec, just go for it. Maybe u will find it useful while others dont. Im not try to condemn our N8, but im so much disappointed with the lagg, hangs. Using fm transmitter is like hell for me.

Mine show Celcom, so no problem.
Last time, 3G not really in use. So paying extra for function we don't really use is waste of money. But now, 3G is a must for smartphone for easier internet convenience.
So, now with 1080 HD recording, do you really need it? How much video you take regularly? For me, with current memory, need to wait a lil bit till we can use 1080Hd to the fullest.
