jz went to campbell and pertama to see, i found the black hammer and timberland.

black hammer got 2-3 design, around 180-200 for mid cut ones, timberland more expensive, 300-400 also got, 600 oso shocking.gif other type like camel, cardin, hi tec are all quite expensive as well rclxub.gif

still got some like men's club, spanner, scorpion, police etc etc.

haven seen red wing and dr marten yet, and red wing too. may be tmw will go midvalley if free.

i ask the shop ppl what is the diff between the yellow type sole and the black type, they say the yellow type jz for normal walking, the black type is for work such as construction site.

some i saw is using stitch like black hammer, some are not using stitch, is the stitch type better?

when i try to wear the boot, i feel the middle got a bit tight, the toe part is ok i think, if change to bigger size i fill it is too long already, the tight part shud be able to break in after a while i guess? i read some article they said better dun buy tight cuz steel toe very hard to expand to fit the foot??

Well the local contractors always use whatever can be found in hardware shops. Got money buy Mr Mark. Not the best but u hardly see any sweat maker using red wings.

Red wing so called branded safety boots lol, u dont have much fashion out there working at offshore/site aye? smile.gif but it is comfortable and good looking. But there are some padded safety shoes, looks like hiking shoes give better comfort. my fren bought 1 reebok one not in msia, dont know model, super comfy, but safety. Normally company gives Red Wings, only local chinapek company give things like Kings, ptui.

I ended up using my company issued Kings safety boots. Price is around 140+. So far, ok la comfy bcos wide toe. Didn't know what to buy, so just use a free one first.

For me black hammer is quite good. Suit my budget actually. The look quite nice. Better than the one my company supplying, Frontier. Last time King. My company issue I have to use extra insole. If not my leg hurt over time. There are other brand like red wing and caterpillar, but the price seem wasted for my work environment. Only downside for black hammer, slippery if you step on oil or hydraulic fluid.
