yes drag race between 2.0L sedans (civic/lancer/inspira) with Polo 1.2TSI is very interesting indeed.
may i know the official 0-100km/h times of the cars above? honda usually do not announce 0-100 and top speed |

Although we got so many roadside assistant sticker on the windscreen already, from insurance, credit card etc. Scirocco 2.0 vs FD2RQUOTE(Dezuss @ Apr 23 2011, 04:49 PM) When on d mode , needed to wait for one or two sec for the car to move.. Izzit normal?? When on the slope how?? Some time the back car stick very near.. Which causes danger.. three things i do to encounter this1. use handbrake like manual car 2. left foot braking 3. quickly press accelerator, although tricky on steeper slopes i think the delay is due to the hill assist, press hard on the brake it should activate. mine only activates certain times QUOTE(Mavik @ Apr 23 2011, 01:49 PM) taxi lol. one helluva taxi QUOTE(Royrogers @ Apr 23 2011, 05:40 PM) Just called YR Auto and they now said I do not need to leave my rims there for 3 days. They have a brand new set of Denvers already polished like your rims. I just need to take my car there and they will just switch it for me. I'm just worried they swindle me and give me a set of used rims in exchange for my brand new rims. Do you think they can be trusted? conclusion if your budget only allows for TSI, never ever test drive the GTI
two alternative is to remap the tsi or get the mk5 gti, also the mazda MPS, yet to test drive the car though Added on May 1, 2011, 1:18 am QUOTE(Mavik @ May 1 2011, 12:27 AM) If you are interested, my SA just told me yesterday that she has a datuk customer who wants to sell his GTI at around RM190k but its a 2010 model and a bit of mileage on it already. if i remembered correctly you said you drive 100+km everydayAdded on May 1, 2011, 12:30 am Bro, most people will spend 90% in the city (especially if you stay in the Klang Valley area). BUT... The extra 10% or in your case, 1% when you drive outside on the trunk roads, the feeling would make it totally worth it! where you live and work? everyday drive TSI syiok or not? roc 2.0 and GTI both are using same engine and transmission
so it depends whether you want 2dr vs 4dr and also some difference in their features mind you in other countries roc is cheaper too as our country tax 2 door cars more. googled some comparison: http://www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/cargroupte...irocco_tsi.html http://www.germancarforum.com/internal-com...hat-choose.html http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/vw-golf-gti...s-scirocco.html btw hello there legendary kevin23 Added on May 1, 2011, 3:07 pm QUOTE(Kyoshiro @ May 1 2011, 01:27 AM) Mazda 3 MPS is indeed a powerful car. so MPS confirm faster than GTI?In fact, before decided to get GTI I did consider getting the MPS. I went to Mazda showrooms and apparently there are no test drives available for the MPS. I wonder how do ppl get convinced to get the car if they can't feel the fun and addiction of driving the car. Too bad, I was discouraged by my family to get a manual car. If u have no issues with manual cars, MPS is the way to go. 380nm of torque is no joke but it's a manual, drivers can't shift perfectly as the DSG does This post has been edited by phas3r: May 1 2011, 03:07 PM |

rm400k 5 series f10 also problematic as an owner of mk5 gti for the last two years and 50k km i had few problems, specifically radio not working and engine oil control ring lose or something both covered under warranty, but it's over now cause only two years. sigh but now working like a charm, driven on weekends, will do DSG oil change soon |

QUOTE(mavric @ May 15 2011, 12:53 AM) what he said there's a petrol station at the top of genting?Added on May 15, 2011, 12:59 amjust back from Genting. close shave with an empty fuel tank today. right after gombak toll, range says 80km left. no problem i thought. reach the top only pump. as i go up the range estimation goes down alarmingly quick and when i rolled into esso at the top the range was showing zero with the fuel gauge at rock bottom. the car managed to drink up 53.xxx litres of fuel. considering full tank is 55 litres, talk about cutting it close wow means at 0km range the petrol is 2L or less? |
