MK5 R32 was RM298k new
Mk5 GTI was RM200k new

the new Golf R is basically the replacement for r32, so it can't be worse, it is more powerful and more economical,
i've read that it uses the Mk5 gti's 2.0L turbo engine (EA113) instead of the Mk6 gti's 2.0L turbo (EA888),
of course one thing that is missing is the sweet exhaust roar of the 3.2L VR6


is that a 1.2 badge on the middle car?

since the golf r is arriving soon why don't they bring in something that we surely can't get like a scirocco R(i've read here that VGM is not bringing it), golf gti high spec/manual/3door
since like this one is only for those who can't wait

2.put in S mode(D or manual mode works too i think)
3.left foot on the brake pedal
4.right foot press till 3k rpm
5.release left foot, your right foot not sure press 100% or play around to ensure a smooth launch

are you sure polo don't have launch control?

i also got smoked by a porsche 911 996 yesterday but it was in residential area
ah, the quest for power/better car is neverending, but there a lot of very rich people that still have a gti, maybe for their son or wife

civic is long in the tooth, next year going to be replaced,
forte bigger and more features, but no idea about its resale value, and polo much quicker with the turbo engine. for me polo anytime cause i don't need space

ah i blame VW malaysia for cutting so much features on the polo, at least bring in lah another SE version or something, just look at the singapore version of polo lah, foglights, 16" rims, better radio, leather seats...
