Well the handling doesn't really come too much into affect, the difference in weight is easily offset by a person's bodyweight as well. E.g. I am a fat guy and weigh over 90kg which would be around 20kg heavier than the average. So my weight itself would already offset the amount of weight savings using lighter rims. Hence I don't really believe that light rims will affect the handling. That is only taking weight into account. In terms of width of the rims, offset and others then it would be a different story altogether. All I know is that my friend who had the OZ Ultraleggeras dented his rims thanks to our pothole riddled roads a lot faster than his original detroits.

You should ask jwrx and valiance on their Rocs, I heard the modified exhaust (custom exhaust which they did at Everco), sounds cool and a nice low rumble to it. Go a few threads back, Valiance put up some pics on that.

The Golf TSI's wipers are really crappy. The shuddering is quite irritating and service advisors tell me it's "that way" for this make. Anyone with such an experience, and any easy fix?

TTH Tinted Film & Auto Alarm Specialist at Puchong (Bandar Puteri) does carry this product. I am using it for my current ride.

I cant compare it as I still haven get my GTI. But then it is the best wiper i'd used before. Smooth, quiet and it have chemical compounds that makes rain beads up on your windscreen (if your windscreen is not chemically treated, this effects only last for about a month, which is my case). Visibility is excellent

Actually those RM10 silicone boneless serve well enough if you believe... Been using it on various cars in my home... Even my dad porsche...

To dealer make sure he gives you the full amount before handing over the JPJ card. They usually will get a runner to do the necessary JPJ work inspection and all. If you have an outstanding loan with the bank, clear that first then only sell the car. Also sometimes most dealers will not require you to change the JPJ card to their name. It will still remain in your name so that when they sell the car it doesn't seem like it is 3rd hand or something along those lines. Make sure you write out a formal letter or document to verify that certain exchanges of funds documents is properly dated and signed.

both are nice depending on personal preference.. for such a cute car (if it's just Polo, not the GTI version), would strongly suggest u to go for colourful colours ler.. 

Hey Guys, just joined this forum. Currently driving a black Golf TSI mk6. Got the car 1 month ago. Anyway, just to share my experience with FA Wagen Johor. I bought my car in kl but since I'm stationed in Johor for the time being, decided to bring my car for the 1st service here in johor. First impression, not good. They were sharing the same place with volvo. I thought "Geez, this is going to take a long tim". And I was right. Came in at 10 in the morning and quoted my car will be ready only after 15:00. Since I'm off that day and the car had 300 km over due, what the heck. The service advisor is not friendly enough. I mean, c'mon, the least he could do was talk to me politely. Anyway, after 15.30, the car was still not ready. By this time I was already smoking 3 cigs in a row to control my anger. Got my car back at 16.00 and they've washed it. I checked under the hood and everything seemed to be ok except the coolant level in the expansion tank was too high. Had to siphon it out. And I was charged RM554 without alignment and balancing.  I will take the pain of driving back to kl and will never bring my car again to them. Anyway, care to share your experience on servicing your car?

PS: I was quoted RM1700 for the next service at 30k km.
