QUOTE(DesmondMiles @ Mar 6 2011, 02:27 PM) Optimus 1 Upgradable to 2.3 xD ! Now should i buy this or Defy? defy is a better phone. if u can live with motoblur and 2.1, go for defy, u wont disappoint.I can get this from Celcom for RM680. xD Special offer for me - postpaid but no monthly commitment xD QUOTE(MercurialA @ Mar 6 2011, 11:06 AM) ah great! how about swype? alright, this is a bit tricky...comparing to galaxy ace... i go for performance more but in budget constrain... so for both... any comments? samsung got 158mb+ internal storage, LG got 190mb+ but samsung using 800mhz processor, LG only 600mhz. so, if u are going to root ur phone, and move all ur apps to external storage... then perhaps Ace is better for you. both phone does not support flash. oh, and, samsung got a bigger screen This post has been edited by wanttobuylaptop: Mar 7 2011, 12:30 AM |

QUOTE(susuquan @ Mar 6 2011, 07:01 PM) everyone here using optimus one, do u all sign up any plan from digi/celcom? or juz use wifi to online?isit fast? i'm using digi smart plan. i'm already using digi smart plan before i use O1. still using now but now my phone still in LG bengkel.the speed is dependant on the wifi's gateway speed, in other words the modem's connection which the wifi is using. but of course, the constraints is on the proc speed. if there's too much image the browsing speed is affected a bit. Added on March 7, 2011, 9:02 am QUOTE(pr3dator @ Mar 6 2011, 06:21 PM) i can't enter the recovery mode, just press power+home+volume down together right? After the LG logo it straight jump to the white box with the android robot outside, then after that go to the set language page. Do i miss out anything? the moment u power up ur phone, press and HOLD the power+home+volume down until the recovery mode screen came up.This post has been edited by justnits: Mar 7 2011, 09:02 AM |

QUOTE(justnits @ Mar 7 2011, 08:53 AM) i'm using digi smart plan. i'm already using digi smart plan before i use O1. still using now but now my phone still in LG bengkel. what do you mean by the speed is dependant on the wifi's getaway.... for example if i'm using a high end android phone (eg. HTC HD), then i can get faster wifi browsing compared to if i'm using mid end phone (eg. LG O1). so if we are with DIGI unlimited data plan which is supposed to be HSDPA, so we wont get actual HSDPA speed browsing..... pls confirm... tq.the speed is dependant on the wifi's gateway speed, in other words the modem's connection which the wifi is using. but of course, the constraints is on the proc speed. if there's too much image the browsing speed is affected a bit. |

Download it, put the zipped file into the SD card, clear cache and dalvik cache, flash from zip, and you're done.QUOTE(MercurialA @ Mar 7 2011, 08:33 PM) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929941Flash that kernel. Refer to the 1st page on how to flash it. It's essentially, root first, install the custom recovery image, and flash the kernel from the custom recovery image. |
