guys do u hav any idea why my papago takes ages to lock to the satellite? i'm using void rom. added gpsfix folder in void settings. should i delete the folder???

Where are you when you are trying to lock in? It usually takes me less than a minute when I'm outside.

oh. i think maybe in cover area. but it did take long time to lock even when i'm inside the KTM.or maybe got prob a?

I... Really doubt the GPS is designed to detect a KTM's route... Lol... Try it when you're in a car or at any legit road.

Anyone know how to enable stagefright?

It seems very complicated after read the whole xda forums ><

8GB is enough for light use. Go get 16GB if you like to store LOTS of files and 320kbps MP3s.

I think I'll write the simplified guide this weekend. In the meantime, just try your hardest to follow the guides at xda.

Are you using the void ROM? Cause it's pretty easy if you are.

void > settings > (create a folder named "stagefright" here)

And you're done.
Though I don't see any reason why anyone would want to enable stagefright other than doubling their Quadrant score.

It's not a bad phone, got it mainly to get me started with the Android world.

Before you delete the ndrive folder, grab the .apk file first from the phone memory in case you want to install it back in the future.
You can just back up the whole folder then and delete it afterwards.

just bought P500 black and rooted to Megatron v1 + kernel Mik os !. auto OCed 720Mhz. trying to OC till 8++Mhz. wohoo play game so nicely also no lag!. btry consumption improved!. nice rom. Angry Bird smooth2

Use the OI File Manager, go to:
Home > system > app

You'll find the ndrive .apk there.

i have go through from page first until here.. i just want to know when we do all those rooting flashing, what shud we back up n how.. i tried to search internet on how to get started with android since this is my first time using it..hope sumone cn ease me on this..thanks..

Firstly, what is your current firmware? v10c< or v10e?

mat karipap . u wan do wat?. flashing new rom?. wat version is ur OS?. 2.2.1 or 2.2?. if 2.2.1 u need to downgrade it.

if u have anything important thing on the phone or SDcard , just backup them. copy to pc.

and when before flashing u can backup ur system so dont worry at all.
just follow the step.

but me, i just skip partition SD step! take so long to wait!.
