That SLCD version is the Galaxy SL. Its compromises are lesser RAM, lesser processor (TIOMAP instead of Hummingbird), SLCD screen and slightly thicker body.

I know it's there. I mean to remove it. Since both phones also don't have it, why mention it for comparison? Like no shutter key, it's a CON for both.

Which is required since SLCD generally eats more battery than AMOLEDs, and since its just 100mah extra, I'd say the battery life is about the same, if not worse.

Off wifi & 3G, casual gaming, calls & texts. Battery last me 2.5 days then the reminder to charge came up(15% batt) .

Wah this phone seems to be really high in demand.. lucky i bought it earlier@RM900 ori set. My ifag friends all butthurt, they condemn samsung copying iphone's design la, no front camera la etc etc... which i dont give a damn tongue.gif my phone can do what their phones are capable of

To those people who are asking about the viewing quality, i can say it is good, for a RM900 phone of course. Texts look much better than wildfire, while picture quality is decent too. Not very sure how would the battery performs yet coz on the first charge it lasted me about 8hrs+ of extensive non-stop wifi usage and molesting. All in all i'm very satisfied with this phone la smile.gif

Menu > Setting > About > Battery.
I presume should be same to all android phone.

Else use widget. Look up for SimiClock from Market. There u could add % Batt status.

if you use battery booster, or application that do the same function... to extend battery..
how long does you i think it can last?

it doesnt come pre-installed
however it still can be install on it
