Wah this phone seems to be really high in demand.. lucky i bought it earlier@RM900 ori set. My ifag friends all butthurt, they condemn samsung copying iphone's design la, no front camera la etc etc... which i dont give a damn tongue.gif my phone can do what their phones are capable of

To those people who are asking about the viewing quality, i can say it is good, for a RM900 phone of course. Texts look much better than wildfire, while picture quality is decent too. Not very sure how would the battery performs yet coz on the first charge it lasted me about 8hrs+ of extensive non-stop wifi usage and molesting. All in all i'm very satisfied with this phone la smile.gif

Before iPhone4 came out, iFags said why would they need a front camera? How many times do you video call in a year? Then Steve Jobs presented iPhone4 with front camera and the iFags rejoiced... basically they will say whatever features are not included, they will not need it, and vice versa.

3gs n this almost the same in term of hardware...
the consideration only the OS....

Added on March 1, 2011, 1:45 pm1 to clarify something about the RAM....
i jz play around with my colleague Galaxy S with Android 2.2...
i checked his phone setting n the RAM displayed is 1++/3++MB...
so that i can confirm Galaxy Ace total RAM is not 278MB as displayed in the setting...coz Galaxy S total RAM is 512MB as mention in the SEPC...
*
So Galaxy Ace's RAM might be around 512mb u say? huhu

not 512mb ....but not 278mb also...at least 320mb...

as we know many Android high end phone r using only 512 RAM...
so that for this ACE or mid range android hv more thn 300 mb RAM is more thn enough...

no!!! the 278mb is total available for user....not total RAM in spec...
coz Galaxy S in spec is 512MB but shown is .../3++MB only...

yes but u hv to check with the processor too....
so plus minus both r the same....

600mhz + 512mb RAM --- processor not enough so need the higher RAM to support

800mhz + 3++mb RAM --- processor fast enough so 3++mb RAM is enough to support

I bought it 3 days ago from Nokia Center, Kinta Jusco with RM1099 with package ^^

I'm happy with my new phone and so far I downloaded Angry Bird. So, I'm still new into these things and I still looking for good apps :9 Can anyone recommend it?

Can also use Swype keyboard for normal typing. I find the special characters are easier to reach with the Swype keyboard than with the Samsung keyboard.
