Wanna ask current Ace users.. how the the gaming experience? Will it lag? Especially those HD type of games...

Kinda interested but the total/available RAM kinda turns me off.. >.<

Stock Quadrant Score 572 is abit low if compare with g5 with moded rom FROZYO...

Its a stock ROM's score, so there might be bloatware and stuff slowing things down, not to mention custom ROMs getting the advantage of overclocked CPU, zipaligned partitions, and many other optimizations.

Now I think of it, that Optimus 3D (that dual core 3d phone) getting 2.8k on stock really is crazy.

Went and got myself an Ace this evening. Somehow, was very careless and only noticed the microSD not in the box when I got home Never mind whose fault it was, what I want to know is what's inside the card? Anything I'd miss? Or is it just some Samsung sync software? Thanks a lot

Hi. For those who already bought it, what case you use for protection? Any shop selling the transparent/clear case?

The samsung sync software is in the CD included in the box, I don't think anything much is in the card other than some sample songs and pictures.

I found out no ppl asking about the GPS of this phone
The GPS positioning for this phone is fast? if compare v Nokia 5800?

I want to get this phone... Was wondering the same thing... But I know many people know the Samsung Galaxy S (SGS) GPS problem...
Its stated on SGS thread that phones manufactured after October 2010 for SGS have no GPS problem...........

So, I think its safe to assume that you won't face GPS issues..... About comparing to the Nokia 5800XM, I have no idea...........

So SGS manufactured after October 2010 can lock GPS easy?
How about the wifi connection? will it like G5 like that that hard to connect to wifi?
Android phone need to use data connection?

Just bought Samsung Ace yesterday with jason / moon @ RM 917. GPS is OK, I used it without SIM card. The Papago performance is about the same as my GPS device.

Than the wifi will have problem?

I just bought this this phone today for RM920 in SS2. Not the cheapest i guess but that's the usual shop I buy my handphone, I go there for the good service.

So far so good, quite smooth. Try Papago just now, without AGPS, got lock in about 3min, don't know this is good or not. I am still exploring the phone, it is my first android, so I don't really know what to expect.
