True though. It used to be a reason that might stop me.
But i came across a thought that, when it comes to recording... phone is always weaker.
Yea i know, some phone provide real good recording, but those are in high-end price.
I saw video recorded by my sis samsung wave. Reviewed as good quality recording, but for me.... kinda weak also.
You just don't use phone to record important or quality demanded video , right ?
So quickly, i put that aside.
Use the right device for right purpose.
Just my opinion though.
However, better if it offers better recording lar~

never play the waiting game when it comes to gadget. just get what you have in the market. you never know down the road in 6 - 8 months time what else will be coming out.
not really important. 2.2.1 is really good imo. 2.3 is just a + if they have.
Not many ppl will be taking video, moreover you can't expect too much for a phone at the price tag of rm900 right?
why said so? it's different segment la bro, that phone is slightly cheaper but it serve it's purpose.

Yes, but come on, 15fps? I think ANY phone in the RM900 range can do better... anyway... I'm not using the phone as a primary video recorder, but it does come in handy sometimes smile.gif

I think that one's a beta one by Samsung, since PhoneArena previewed a prototype unit. We might never have that one. sad.gif

I find this to be quite random. I read upon some user's Ace can tahan 1 days +, with gaming, wifi once a while.
While some bash it for can't even tahan half days.
I don't know, but is this a common thing when it come to battery life ?
If i buy this, i will close unnecessary stuff like wifi, 3g coverage when not in use.
I guess it helps with battery life ?

Haha my first day of using it was kinda bad, cause I'm new with the phone. Had alot of things running. But I learnt from trial and error, off the 3g and activate only 2g and the battery lasted longer.

lol those comments usually comes from user who does not know how to optimize the battery. if you once used an android before you pretty much would know how to optimize it. my phone battery can last one whole day despite playing and downloading with 3g on and never off.

Yeap, probably. Read some tips on optimizing the battery and will use them.
But so far i read is, close 3g, wifi, dump unnecessary widgets and background apps, when idle set low processor clock... any else ?

To extend battery life on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, turn off your Bluetooth when you’re not using it. As we know, Bluetooth is a wireless connection that can receive and transmit information, but to do this it consumes battery power. Your Samsung Galaxy Ace display is set to full brightness at first start up this can put a strain on your battery. However, you can reduce the screen brightness and the screen timeout.-Samsung phones questions

When you don’t use the web, download or video call on Samsung Galaxy Ace, turn off 3G to save battery life. Another feature that can affect your battery life is WiFi, make sure this is switched off when its not in use. I think these intructions will help you to extend battery life on your Samsung S5830.

most importantly in Ace is that, try not to on your GPS when you are not using it. do not click on allow gps to locate your location and if you are not using google navigator just off it.

Despite there are cool apps like gps tracker where can track your phone location but those apps are going to kill your battery life span.
