Lucky my tiles work almost ending as the tiles price increased 10%.

With add on 2box already need extra $15 (original @2.40 and now@2.65 / 15pcs@box)....

Else I guess easily need extra 2-3K (Yet to calculate how much tiles I have puchase)

Are you typo error kah?

"To dismantle and fix new tiles for 5 1/2 x 9' bathroom - RM4,100" , it means 5.5 * 9 = 49.5 / 4100 = RM82@sqf?
"To dismantle and fix new tiles for 112" x 51" bathroom - RM4,300", it means 9.3F (112") * 4.25F (51") =40 / 4300 = RM100@sqf?

You must be kidding with the price, if RM10@sqf it alreayd super high, your like SUPER SUPER high.

1) Are you start at Apartment or Landed property?
2) is the toilet at 1st floor or Gnd floor ( if you stay at lander property)
3) Are you having any leaking at this point?
4) Your dismantle only floor tiles or wall tile inclusive?'
5) any other thing ? Basin / WC move?

Normal hacking on floor so far I been quote are RM 6.50 (excluding tiles and Susu). So either you provide wrong info, or you are a Big Water Fish...

Added on August 14, 2011, 1:39 amYou already have your selection of tiles and with code, why not just pick the phone up or visit more place and ask for the price, than you will know where to get more cheaper. I just take the code and walk into more than 5 shops, than see which shop are ready stock (sure not all), than ask them to offer better price, if good price will get all from them.
Hence I indirect save cost up and they even give me privileage to call them for order and they just deliver to my place without need to pay up front first, and FOC deliever as long more than RM50.

Just onething need to keep in mind, get from reliable shop not cheap place to prevent given you reject or 2nd grade.

You could ask the tile shop send for laser cut, but it vary expensive lol...

Not really clear about your situation
1) Are you please to change the whole house tiles (750sf) or only the 3 bedrooms (what the sf)?
2) the contractor quote base on whole house (750sf) or only some space?
3) Is Skirting been covered too?
4) why you option B are cheaper than option A on the Demolishing / removing? Are those said thing?

Mobilization cost? Perhaps only Dustbin, the rest it is the contractors cost. Why you need to pay rental pf machine and delivery of materials? Because normally if puchase through hardware shop (cerement / sand...) or tiles (tile shop) once your about a treshold than the shop will deliver FOC or will charge RM20-50 (normally the contractor will pick up themself is only small number)

Maybe good to get another contractor to quote too.

Looking at the plan and assuming your Kitchen will not touch
11 x (11+10) = 231 sf
Assuming walkwall (3x9) + door entire (3x3) = 18+ 9 = 27
Total tile 231+27 = 358 (make it ease we count as 360sf)

360sf x 4.50 (tiling without hacking) = 1620
Tiles 360 / 4(2x2 tile) = 90 pcs x RM10@ = RM 900
Total 1620+900 = RM 2520

Hence base on above exemption, it sound reasonable for RM 2700 but then few items you need to check

1) What the max allow tile price you allow to purchase? Maybe he only give RM7, more than that you need to pay extra
2) How about skirting, or how much will be charge? (I'm been charged RM3@f)
3) How much he charge if your buy tiles (as suggested by lhsmedphy and what I do during my renovation) and the contractor supply labour

THis already a good arrangment lol. Hacking the tile with cost additiona RM1@sf (minimum)...but you need to make sure that may the ground work proper laying (water level) and can ready for tiles work

Not really, the list of showroom are actually there HQ managed show room except Niro, where the HQ actually on Sec 13 (Not sure about Feruni)
The price can't be lower as they worry will be complaine by dealer...at if everyone go HQ show room must well those small shop close lot...

Still have shop salling but not much choice lol.
8x8 normally use on toilet, if have option or plan to change all, than may want to considera to change the size to have much choice lol

1x1 for wall? The question should be is for Wall or Floor? Because where your tiles will be install is what tiles you need to purchase.\

If possiable get the volume require at one go, dont purchased half half, as the quality (colour) maybe slight different even from same shop after the getting new stock in.
I hit the problem when miscount of 10pcs on my toilet, endup the new one is more shining and previous

It all depend on what your base level you have lol. If too high, you may end up need to redo the door or level between Kitching and Living room with be higher.

You may want to check with the PJ office if you have the code, than they may able to identified when or similar type of tiles you could use...
Normally after few years those tiles will be gone from market.

What the market price now for tiles labour work only?
RM 15 for 1x1 tiles + labour at Klang.V for apartment, reasonable?
