false alarm, it still boots into recovery back if phone is plugged in... but the phone charges in recovery. isnt it?

Put the message tone you want into /media/notifications in your memory card.

I would recommend you to use MyBackup Root/Pro instead, the UI is more user friendly.

Root version is free, Pro is paid version.

Yes I'm using MyBackup Root also - easier..but need to redownload everytime after flash.

MyBackupRoot/Pro is much more easier than Titanium Backup..i just backup that data and the apk files i put in one folder

does it backup game's save file as well ? or those modded themes leh ?

ya save files as well, it can backup almost everything including sms, contacts, calendar etc etc.. not sure about themes..

i think he meant redownload mybackup root, which the APK can b found in SD card..

is htcsense working?

- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition

? Is it these 2?

Do both ...or you can just do the first one ...well mine usually :

- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- wipe dalvik cache

flash rom

can use full wipe 1.3 also

So, CWM3 got newer version..before this using CWM 3.0.0.5, some got problem when doing Nandroid Backup..seems like CWM 3.0.0.6 fixed it
