Please get use to it. Hypocrisy is everywhere, even in our daily life. Xavi even said once that footballers are bunch of 'selfish' people. One may say too much, or do something that he shouldn't have. It applies to everybody. For me, the reason of the saga around Cesc is because of Cesc himself. Barca won't chase him if he is not interested in joining us. His silent stance also triggered insecurity among Gunners. Wenger get angry with Xavi because he say Cesc told him that he is unsettled. Why does Wenger not blame Cesc for talking to someone outside of Arsenal instead? Diverting attention? I think Wenger is really quite good at that, it's proven
