Lol, you can't possibly expect his wife to think that her man is only marrying for sex.

Why are there so many churches which are only comprised of one race? Mostly Chinese?
Isn't that being racist? |

"How can you believe in an imaginary person in the sky?"
"How do you believe that your lost pet will come back to you? It has been months. It could have died somewhere." "Well...I love my dog. I don't mind waiting." "That my friend, is an act of faith." |

QUOTE(pehkay @ Jul 6 2012, 04:44 PM) It means that most people practice faith in many things, but has refused to accept the faith of God.For if the faith of God is a "blind believe", how is that any different than those who has faith in other things the world? They do not believe in God, and yet they have secretly accepted the concept of faith, which is similar to those who has faith in God. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 6 2012, 08:41 PM) The Problem with us is that may of us don't understand God's way of how things work. About the Devil, I have made a quote, a mere opinion nonetheless:Many think it's just empty believe or blind believe as you would have it. The Devil would love to have you believe that. Here goes: "If there is only one good, that is knowledge, and only one evil, that is ignorance, then I submit to you that the Devil has more knowledge than you about how you accuse him of evil, and your ignorance towards your own evil ways." |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 6 2012, 08:56 PM) This is the second quote I see next to someone else who quote Lucifer is the good one trying to save human kind from God who is the evil one. You were mistaken. I did not claim that the Devil is the good one.But never the less not surprise one bit and still I don't see what's the relevance. The idea here is while we think the Devil is the main antagonist in the universe, what we're actually forgetting here is that Lucifer is indeed the most perfect being created, and is actually closer than God than any of us can imagine. There was a story that Devil didn't actually go for God's throne. The reason why the Devil became an enemy is that when God has created humanity, He has ordered the angels to bow down to the new creation. Lucifer however, perhaps being one of the most perfect being created, refuses to see how flawed beings like us deserves his respect, or even God's grace. God of course, loves us with Grace. The reason why the Devil is how the way he is today is because he really thinks humanity is nothing but a piece of ungrateful piece of sh*t, who does not even deserve a place in Heaven nor the grace and acceptance from God. The Devil rebelled not because he wanted the throne. He rebelled because he was insisting that we do not deserve God. God of course, says otherwise. Lucifer continued to fight on and rebel in order to prove his point to God, not because he lusts for the throne of God. QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 6 2012, 08:57 PM) The similar concept of the act of faith that is assumed to be illogical. They think believing in God is foolish, we think that the fact they have faith in anything at all is already an act that is contradicting their claims of disbelief in God. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 6 2012, 09:41 PM) No I'm not saying you said that, just saying yours is the second one I've seen. Exactly. He can't see the future. He merely thinks we are really, really flawed, and has tried many ways to prove it. Horrifyingly he has been quite right, we are indeed sinners, and come to think of it, we all actually fall short of God's grace and glory. When he became the serpent to trick Eve, he won his first about humanity.Well that's the conspiracy l was talking about. But really if we were to go with this story still doesn't made any difference because God hates pride. He would have been cast down anyway. The Bible did mention He was going to exalt himself above God. And this story doesn't make sense because Satan is not omniscience. He doesn't know the future. So how would he know humans would be ungrateful if Sin didn't enter before creation? But the Fact that He's the one who instigated this to happen prove beyond any doubt He has lost it. But God just came down to die for our sins anyway. The Love is too great. Trust me, when God did this, I can tell you that Lucifer is really, really mad at the decision. Why do we (humanity) even deserves His grace? But of course you and I understand that today. The reason why I chose this way to think of Lucifer is because that, in my opinion, prince of evil he may be, we forget that he is probably has more knowledge than all of us when it comes to God. Furthermore, he is also known as the angel whom is the most perfect creation. So when I see humanity decided to simply blame in to the Devil for the sins they commit, he is smiling with victory due to our ignorance, which is also the same way how when we are to blame God for our misdeeds. More importantly, there was also another theory. There was a question being asked. Why wouldn't the Devil simply kills all of us when we sin the greatest? Why allow us to pray to God and repent? The answer is quite unorthodox. This reason is because Lucifer KNOWS that the SOUL and SPIRIT are ETERNAL. By murdering us, humanity will realize that there is indeed an afterlife, an will realize the truth anyway, and will accept full heartedly that is God. So what Lucifer is doing now is, instead of simply murdering all of humanity at their most flawed moments, he is ensuring that we live in his deception as long as possible, and when we die while not accepting the grace of God, he has created something most people call it as "reincarnation". Lucifer, who refuses to allow humanity to realize that the soul and spirit are eternal, kept making sure that humanity repeats the cycle of sinning. When we die, we won't really actually die, especially when we die without accepting the grace of God. The reincarnation is being reincarnated into a different person, in a different body, and with a different life. All to ensure that we won't have a chance to be enlightened about God. In other words, "Hell" isn't really the place with fire and brimstone. The "Hell" under this context seemed to suggest that"Earth is indeed Hell itself, because of the cycle we have to go through, which is the relentless suffering we have to go through by being separated from God. I don't know what happens to those who die with their hearts whom has already accepted Christ, but I know for the rest of humanity, the Revelations may be the only way the cycle will be stopped for good. And that's when the great horror will come. Lucifer will make sure that we will bow down to him, especially with the mark of the beast, and the need to have him in order to buy something. The tribulation will once and for all prove whether if Lucifer is right that we either live with nothing, or will die for something. It is this time, no matter who you are, that you may be required to die for standing up for righteousness, which is God's side. Or you may even need to retreat to an island to make sure you are not under the grasp of Lucifer, and worship God in secrecy. So my main point is, don't dismiss the Devil so quickly for being so evil, when we ourselves are so flawed about ourselves. Humility is the greatest strength here, when God can even love us for being so flawed. In short, don't blame anyone, anything, be it the Devil or God, but yourself. You are at your own fault, human. And the Devil has many ways to prove it. We have to combat our own sins, not only combat the Devil. QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 6 2012, 09:41 PM) Perhaps. But that's why we'll never have the same amount of faith as a child. |

QUOTE(planb2 @ Jul 6 2012, 08:46 PM) It's all a question of probability. From evidence of the dog's character, there is a high probability he might return. And how does one measure that probability? And how is that probability any different from God appearing in front of a human being? And if there are probabilities that the dog would not return, how would that any different than the faith of God that He actually exists? |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 9 2012, 01:39 AM) Well, these alternate explanation may be consiprationally interesting but I believe it's important to understand the fundamental of the Bible before entertaining other theories to know the difference. After all it is God the Father who called Satan as the father of all Lies, he's a liar from the beginning and he is by deception, the god of this world. I would not be surprise at all if these alternate theories somehow supported Satan to be innocence in any sense. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how these theories came to be. Satan is still alive after all. But for the sake of the public, proper explanation of the gospel should be made known. I know where you're coming from. But to point fingers at the Devil for every sins you commit? That's the Devil's victory there. He;s gonna tell God that, "Look at your precious creation You love so much. Look at how they point the fingers. at me, as if they were all actually exempted from their own sins...just like your servant Job. Only this time, I will win."We are not sinners because we "want" to sin willingly. We are sinners because of the effect of sin entering to this world via Adam and Eve's disobedience at the garden of Eden. Doesn't matter if it was Adam, Ahmad or Ah Chong's fault. You can put Thillaimuthu as the first human being and still it is his disobedience that causes the rest of humanity to fall. What matter is that, the caused of effect of sin has been put into motion and it is an inherited curse. His disobedience towards God caused the manifestation of the curse of sin to be passed on for generation to generation. That is why people act the way they are today. The sinful nature. You and I are not excluded from this. It affect all of us. And Satan is really the instigator for our downfall. Since he's the one who engineered the deception, how can anyone say he's not at fault? His predominant fault was his pride. Simple revelation. God saw through Satan's mind. The Bible is very clear, he wanted to overtake God. I believe the Bible is the infallible explanation of who Satan is. Though he is cunning and was nearly perfect, he is no where near God's in power and knowledge. Nobody is above God or knows better than God. And if we were to go along with your conspiracy theory that satan fought God until today to prove that he is right and god is wrong still points back to his demise, pride. This is where satan has failed. If God has ordained humanity to be second in ranking in the creation chart of life, who is satan or anybody to say otherwise? Is satan smarter than God? I don't think so. Not in this sense because the system of God's kingdom is different from this world. Whatever that is esteem high in value, God consider them as nothing. The world would have only recognize VIP status, high education, eloquence, money, etc to qualify for a position. But God chose the low things of this world the confound the wise. That is why the 12 Apostle are chosen all from lowly background. Peter was a only an uneducated fisherman after all but he became one of God's patriarch used powerfully in the Kingdom of God in miracles, signs and wonders. And That is why Jesus came for sinners, the unqualified, the social outcasts, prostitutes, etc. Why He didn't come for the righteous, those who are of VIP status, high education, eloquence, money, those who teachers of the Law? Because those people are self righteous in their own delusion. They become full of pride. This is exactly what Satan has become. God hates Pride. Do you know that Satan have been disarmed of his powers and principalities at the cross? God removed it and made a public spectacle in the spiritual realm. He has been defeated and has no real power. His only weapon now is deception and lies. And God is offering Salvation to everyone who accept it. I don't see how satan is able to smile in victory when the fact of the matter it is God has won ultimately and offered this to us through Jesus Christ. Do you know the reason why God esteem we humans above the angels? It's Because we're created in God's image. Lucifer and all the Angels wasn't. Because we are created in God's own Image, we have part of God's conscious in our spirit and we are eternal in that sense and is of much more worth in comparison. That is why God loves us like a Father to a child. Probably that is why Angels are not forgiven when they sin but we are given that chance. Anyway God never meant for us to be under dominion of Sin. The Book of Genesis tells us the heart of God towards Man. He wanted us to have an abundant Life and Dominate in corporation with Him. That desire of God is true for you and I even Today. It is when Satan deceived humanity to fall from grace, God step in to save us through Jesus. That too tells us the Heart of God's love towards us. If that is not God's Love for us, I don't know what is. I don't accept the concept of reincarnation because it doesn't make sense and for me is not the truth. The Bible is very clear we only have one life. The feeling of hell on earth are the effect of sin and the Forces of Darkness at work. That prove that the devil is still alive. But the real Lake of Fire explains eternal pain. Just imagine putting your finger over a burning candle. At first nothing, then the sensory pain kicks in. Then the real agonizing pain and you can't move your finger. Multiply that by a million times effect all over your body. That is literal hell. I think in comparison, Earth would be like paradise but still both are headed for destruction. Those who have already accepted Jesus Christ has been redeemed from the curse of sin, because God has punished all the curse of Man, the punishment and wrath of God into the body of Jesus at the Cross. Therefore God justified the person's believe as righteousness. He is saved from condemnation. That is the grace of God. Something we cannot earn by our effort. The Bible is very clear on that. The reason why God does not accept anyone self effort to reach God because it reeks of self righteous pride and that is why the Pharisee of Jesus's day couldn't see God. Something interesting to ponder. All of the world's religion is still teaching self effort. God Bless. Remember the book of Job? Something tells me that the Devil is still trying to prove to God that we are nothing, by planting his lies and deception around the world. God allowed it because I think He ultimately wants each of us humans to accept His grace, and to be responsible to our own lives, amidst all the things the Devil is currently doing now. In other words, it is true that the Devil tempts you, but if you are tempted anyway and then sin, it will be your own fault to fall into the temptation in the first place. Most humans however, simply blame the Devil, and tried to appear as if they are faultless. And about grace. I know it's free. But something tells me that just because it is, it is not to be taken for granted. This post has been edited by Deadlocks: Jul 10 2012, 08:11 AM |

QUOTE(Love6 @ Jul 10 2012, 09:36 AM) QUOTE(pehkay @ Jul 10 2012, 09:44 AM) Regarding on the line of grace, there is also the matter of the reward and the entering into the kingdom. So, the truth is balanced. I am unclear about this. May I know more of this?QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Jul 10 2012, 11:00 AM) Hi Deadlocks, Remember when you said that the Devil has no right? What makes us human think, that we have the right then? It is the similar concept, except when it comes to ignorance, I will say humanity has more of it (the ignorance, that is) in comparison to the Devil. That is not my meaning. What I meant is that satan is part of the cause of the Fall of Man. He cannot be exempted from blame just because he is smart or cunning or know better most of us. He doesn't fall into immunity or shades of grey area. It doesn't give him a right because ultimately God has better reasons than the devil when He created us. To say that Lucifer was smart and that gives him the right to challenge God's wisdom in creating us is like saying Lucifer knows better than God. God is much greater in wisdom than all of his creation combined. And to answer you, yes we are all responsible for our own sins. We cannot just blame the devil and leave as it is. We should take corrective decisions to overcome it and the only way to overcome it is through Jesus Christ. Not by our own merits or works to justify oneself before God. That is why God gives us grace. Peace. This post has been edited by Deadlocks: Jul 10 2012, 10:57 PM |

Salvation through faith, or works?
My question is, why not both? Those who only faith, will not work for it. And those who work for it, merely do it for the sake of working, like a day job, where there is no meaning behind the work itself. So why have both of them, where you can have faith, and work for it, because you are SINCERE? This post has been edited by Deadlocks: Oct 28 2012, 09:45 AM |

Unfortunately, I've seen racism happening in churches. I have conducted several experiments on Chinese Christian families by sending my Indian friend going door to door (also a Christian) to gauge on the responses.
You will be surprised of how they were more shocked to have an Indian approaching them than a Chinese, even if all the people involved are Christians. |

Do you think it will be okay if I go up to these families and JUDGE them for their racism after I catch them in video camera?Call me vain but I always feel most Christians in Church are baby sheep. Even the apostle Paul felt the same. (Hebrews 5:12) lololol. |

QUOTE(unknown warrior @ Nov 5 2012, 01:11 AM) Baby sheeps need to be guided with love la bro. Sometimes I feel that they should be caught red-handed. As a matter of fact, I will continue conducting several experiments to put them in a situation where their racism will be tested. It takes God to change their life to be open to all races because only He has a Heart big enough and patience long enough and the power to move situations to make people get it in life. You and I when we take out the whips and rod of judgement will only make them see us as attention horse in church even with sincere intentions. What I mean is this, we become examples for others to see. Good that you practise no racism. God will use that to shine a light in their lives to expose their weakness. Just continue to be a good example. There is power in there. |

Yes, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing? I remember that. That's what happen to the woman caught in the act of adultery. (John 8) The pharisee and teachers of the law wanted condemnation and judgement to be sentenced right away by stoning her. But Jesus didn't and to the surprise of those standing there, gave her a gift of no condemnation and the Bible mentioned she responded in later chapters in repentance. |

This is what I sincerely think why the Devil rebelled, not because he wanted power for himself, but simply did not want to us to be the new upcoming rulers.
