I do.

And I sent my laptop to Acer Service (great, I had to send it abroad as they don't have a Service Center in Poland...) and what happened? Those knuckleheads sent it back to me with nothing replaced saying that it's a software problem. Are they serious?!

How is this even possible? I did reinstall Windows 3 times so far and tried different drivers. WTF?!
*
Obviously it is not a software problem. I think its the Sandy Bridge processor problem....There's no other fix besides changing the motherboard of your laptop....or change ur laptop...

*
Yeap. Thats the problem why you encounter Blue screen of death, freezes in games and all those...

now, you can't bring it to swap anymore...can only change the motherboard....

fast do it before the warranty ends...if not mistaken, warranty only 1 year...

I got mine back. Still the first batch, but no bluescreen at all.
Does anyone have pictures from the inside of the notebook?
I need to know where the CPU/GPU is.

oh btw:
Is it recommended to place a fan of the Coolermaster U3 directly under the louver of the internal notebook fan?
or should I place them more central? ._.

aaand:
My CPU hits 90 degrees. Even with a cooler  blush.gif

Nice...btw, you can go check out the Youtube...i remember my friend told me got one video showing the inner parts of the laptop....show where the HDD and the graphic card located

Just wondering, how often do u guys off your Acer 5750G laptops?.Do you guys ever leave it on for days without shutting down?.Because thats what I do.I will always leave my laptop on for days, sometimes up to 1 week without shutting down. So, I'm curious if will it spoil or damage my laptop if I keep leaving it on without shutting down?.Should I off it everyday?.
*
Dangerous to do that eh, although its never proven...i switch it off everyday

70C? Not bad. The U3 is around RM120 and ZM is around RM 190. Are there any better price in LYN? I hope I could get one otherwise have to wait for PC Fair.
Sometimes my 5750G is "hang" for few minute when I pluged in external port like power supply and LAN cable RJ45. I have to force shutdown it.
Have any of you face this problem?
*
I only experience freeze/hang when Windows 7 is starting up...with the four small colourful dots...and i have to force shut down it (press the start up button)

but these days, no more happen...

i never encounter ur problem though

The is no problem when plugged in after few seconds of win7 start up.
Weird! Is this problem occur to  a new laptop? rclxub.gif

I'm not sure also. It is not Acer 5750G problem. If you google it, a lot of others are experiencing it also...

I'm also using 5750G and running StarCraft 2 on ultra settings (1366x768) but with shadows and shaders lighting put to low. Getting an average 60 - 70 FPS, never encounter BSOD since the day I bought it.

OK, I finally got my laptop back (2nd time already). I was one of those encountering nvlddmkm.sys BSODs when playing games.

According to the report, they seem to have changed the whole motherboard. I am still yet to check and see if it's true.

But I want to be more careful this time. I suspect that my GPU died because of too much heat the last time. I am looking for a cooling pad and want to buy a Zalman one.

Is NC1000 big enough for the 5750G or do I need to go for NC2000? Or the NC2500? NC3000S?
*
How do you know if your GPU died? Have you tried playing any games to verify that everything is okay after the service?

But I think your laptop should be fine now after the change of the motherboard.

Hello so far i already had this laptop for 6 months. i din encounter any BSOD, but my pc is extremely boot up slow. it's take like 10 mins i tried like registry cleaner and remove all the startup program only left like msn.
it's still slow boot up , any bro encounter this?
*
Just wondering if your laptop is first or second batch? Blue or black?

Did you encounter freeze or you have to wait very long at the windows 7 loading screen with the four colourful dots (which forms a Windows 7 logo)?

My Acer Aspire 5750G is working fine now. Boot time is around 1 minute.

Try Run --->> MSCONFIG --->> Click STARTUP --->> Uncheck some programs at start up

hi thanks bro for the reply,

mine is first batch balck , it can log in to window desktop but when it's there it's stuck for quite long and i already uncheck almost all the start up program.

wondering wat went wrong.. sigh4
*
First batch which is black has a lot of other problems besides having BSOD during gaming. Just an advice. Send it to the Acer service centre, and claims your warranty. Ask them to change the motherboard...definitely fix your problem

QUOTE(unequalteck @ Jul 6 2011, 08:27 PM)
if buy this model now already come with sandy bridge?
or still have to send for replace?
*
No need to send for replace already. The old batch of this 5750G (black) has been discontinued. Replaced by new 5750G which is blue in colour.

So, if you go to shop, and you see a blue laptop Acer 5750G which comes with core i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT 540M 2GB + 640GB HD + 4GB Ram, this laptop no problem already

But, just in case you prefer the laptop to be black, you can top up another rm200 to buy Acer Aspire 5755G with core i7-2630QM + Nvidia GT 540M 2GB + 750GB HD + 8GB Ram

this 5750G is around rm2.4k right?
*
The RM2.4k one comes with Core i5. Not core i7.

Also 15.6" and metallic blue in colour

RM2899 is the one with core i7..

then the i5 not come with sandy bridge? but the i5 spec also not bad
*
Sandy Bridge is the processor. The Core i5 in the Acer Aspire 5750G is sandy bridge processor. Gaming performance is the same as the Acer 5750G with Core i7.

PM me if you have any questions about this laptop. If you wanna buy, I can give you some reviews about it. smile.gif

other spec is all same with 5750G and only rm2299

And its black and I love the design.

5750G Core i7 version is expensive because its 15.6" and probably the core i7 sandy bridge quad core is causing the price to be so expensive

4755G should have the same gaming performance as 5750G. Except for cpu intensive games like StarCraft 2 and Black Ops
