Gray colored is the affected one. I wonder why the store didn't return the affected set.

I think because in some countries they are making new models with new motherboard and grey case.

I am using core temp or hw32 which is frequently updated. And my temp idle 45-50°C and gaming 80+-5°C.

Use CPUID software.let it run on background to constantly monitor your current, minimum and maximum temperature of CPU and GPU.
It also monitors the voltage and wattage level

CPUID is good but little bit outdated smile.gif

Just wondering, how often do u guys off your Acer 5750G laptops?.Do you guys ever leave it on for days without shutting down?.Because thats what I do.I will always leave my laptop on for days, sometimes up to 1 week without shutting down. So, I'm curious if will it spoil or damage my laptop if I keep leaving it on without shutting down?.Should I off it everyday?.

Most of time i put it to sleep. Maybe 1 turn of per week. I think it isnt dangerous.

Hello guyz,

I purchase my laptop 5750g as an upgrade for my older 5745g laptop so i can play starcraft 2 at better graphic settings but unfortunately I keep on getting random BSOD while playing starcraft 2 which I never had with my older 5745g.
.....
....
Technical Information:

*** STOP: 0x00000116
......
*
you can google for this bsod

STOP 0x00000116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR
Usual causes: Video driver, overheating, bad video card, ?BIOS, ?Power to card

"It's not a true crash, in the sense that the bluescreen was initiated only because the combination of video driver and video hardware was being unresponsive, and not because of any synchronous processing exception.

The VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

I think this is driver/game problem. Try different game setings / vsync on/of / different resolutions / or different drivers.
SC2 is freaking game for many graphic cards.

I have version with SB i5 and there isnt much difference. Gaming performance is limited with GPU which have 100% usage in gaming but processor have only 50-70% of usage in most of new games.

Btw what is your temperature of GPU during gaming? I have only 71-74°C max.

The better way to disable turbo is made new power plan and set maximum cpu usage to 99% in advanced settings of the new power plan.
Then you can just switch powerplans with or without turbo smile.gif
