The SAs at TTDI, Kota Damansara and Naza Autoworld on the Federal Highway told me the same thing. Then I called City Ruby in Bandar Sunway, where someone named Jason assured me they have a 6-speed for testdrive. I haven't had time to go there yet.
*
city ruby is a dealer or branch? maybe true branch dont have test drive as they might want to fulfil customer's demand first.
as for dealer. they bought the car and make them as test drive unit.

from wat i heard from some salesperson and my fren, test drive units usually owns by a customer, or company staff....they use it to test drive in short distance...
well, i believe my car too was a 'test drive' unit, coz when i got my car, ald quoted 50km++ ald...
*
if we're not satisfied with the mileage, we can always ask for record.
they have them in their system. basically you'll know whether your unit is abused for test drive or genuine case like they transport it back from one showroom to another.

Hi all Forte owner,

I am considering a few cars at below or slightly above 85k car and Forte 1.6 SX is definitely under heavy consideration. Please do tell me what is your opinion  on this car, the performance for a 1.6 SX and the maintenance cost involved ( servicing, FC, etc)?
*
bro,

maintenance list please refer here
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=Atta...post&id=2084344

comparison with other makes please refer here

all other info please refer 1st page at here

since you ride a myvi before, please do not expect the FC will be the same. coz forte is under C segment car with heavy body and 17" rim.
my FC is considered good enough.. and heard the new FL will give good FC (improvement 10% more from 4 speed)

If you are taking 1.6EX then i believe can, SA will be able to mark up the price and apply for the loan using 1.6SX model.
Full loan usually needs to have 2 variants of spec within the same engine capacity...
*
yes. can apply but still have to fork out few K. in the region 1K ~ 2K.
personal experience in applying full loan for EX variant. loan apply for SX.

81800K; 10% downpayment = 8200
loan applied = 81800K - 8200 = 73600

previous EX price = 75800

so you've to fork out; 75800 - 73600 = rm2200

i use previous price.. to reflect current FL price.. calculate yourself

what i mean is SX 1.6..not EX...i've ask vincent and another SA from setapak branch..both of them said can apply full loan for SX...i jus wonder is that possible

now SX 6speed is 85,800 instead of 81,800
*
last time i also asked the same thing. i want SX with full loan. the answer is NO. i dunno lah if now can.
but last time cannot. coz the engine capacity must be the same. easy for them to change the undertaking letter with the bank once loan approved

Actually you can settle with bank on the due date, just tell them to extend it till end of month....
*
correct

QUOTE(yeowa @ Mar 16 2011, 11:12 AM)
sigh... it is all depending on dealer's invoice date... got screwed... lol...

I need to talk to dealer again...
*
my case, i told the SA to deal with bank on the due date. my payout is on 26th, bank due date usually either on 15th or 28th.
even the dealer invoice is on 15th, you can ask bank to extend until 28th. you just have to pay the difference (interest for few days from 15th until 28th - one time only)

i.e:
invoice on 15th, by right ur due date is on 15th.
but the bank extend until 28th. means after 1 month plus only u need to pay (so u pay the extra day (in term of interest) before due date on 28th).usually charged on last payment schedule.

its something like that. hope u can understand as i also bit pening to elaborate. hahaha

yea...mine do....hv 2 wait for 3 months...coz NAZAKIA nw cut cost, no more air shipment...using water shipment nw..
*
any prove to support your claim? hmm.gif

what we do know they're improving. all management level change bout 80%.
they wanna work close with car club activity, gain feedback from us.

now they're trying to reduce the spare part cost to compete with the market.
hope we could get the good news soon.

when i went to SC few days ago, ask y parts so long hvn't arrived yet...
they say, NAZA cut cost, no more air transport, only by ship....
if wan air transport, i had 2 pay 4 the transport fees....
*
we also had mention this publicly on Kia Malaysia's wall. hope they have enough spare part availability to "prone to accident" parts like bumper, headlamp, grill, side mirror etc. and they also aware on the cheaper price that can be given by Kia Powers in supplying the same quality (and genuine) stuff. hope they could source the spare part with competitive price in the near future.

and lots of mistake that is not 100% from nazakia too..
in example:

1) accident case, towed to outside workshop. workshop order parts (getting list from Nazakia). end up have to wait more coz different parts (they order based on Singapore forte's part number). The model is different with malaysia one.. might be small differences only but it could not fit properly. This is true with FL. the fog lamp & side mirror is different (just an example for malaysia model). Parts number might look same but its not. i.e 123456A (forte in sg yr 2008), and 123456B (forte in my year 2009). Small mistakes originated from others but people just condemn nazakia "slow in ordering parts"

2) door handle button faulty. owner claim warranty through SC dealers. where the SC dealer is not competent. lazy to follow up. lazy to report and claim on behalf of owner. But owner simply bash nazakia at KM's wall. Case taken over by branch and within 1,2 days kawtim. We as owner also if claim need to follow up. naza careline no is there for us to call.

3) accident: owner mumbling over whole process that very long. repair work not even started after few months. talk bad bout in general. where else the true story never mentioned. repair works cannot start when we did not submit relevant document for insurance claim. so who's at fault in here? when the owner him/herself did not help in speeding the process.

just some example from conversation with ppl in naza & other club members. just some clue sometime its not entirely nazakia's fault.
