QUOTE(This is a Lamp @ May 10 2011, 07:14 PM) Uh...caddy case is used for a SECOND harddisk. Basically removing the exisiting DVD drive out and put a new one. Removing the primary HDD is even easier; open the two screws on the mid-bottom, take out HDD and put SSD in. It's REALLY EASY i don't know why there's a big fuss about it. And pleaseeee for the love of god kahyje read posts more carefully haha. hahahha srrry man, i hate reading LOL

QUOTE(carbonytte @ May 13 2011, 08:49 PM) haha. they definitely got their maths wrong then. customized Sager NP8130 at Mucro (to make hardware spec same with LPC's) : SGD 1641.64 Sager NP8130 @ LPC : 1209 USD = 1 498.55536 If we add in 7% GST for mucro = 1498.55536 * 1.07 = 1603.4542352 yep. the price at their website is quite higher compared to LPC USD -> SGD with 7% GST... heelllooo brooo!!!!! i just installed my ssd , blazing fast !!!! thanks to ur guide!!

QUOTE(Amal @ May 14 2011, 12:36 AM) My laptop already arrived in singapore 2 days ago... Courier tried to send it to mucro, but the shop is closed! I already emailed them so they can ask the post office, none replied... Tried calling them today, nobody pickup! I already wasted my time on CHEAP (as per advised by them, so they can reimburse cheaper) shipping since 30th April! If I would've known like this, I would just send it back using DHL as I wont mind as long as I can get my laptop fast! maybe they cuti leh bro...chill la...no worries 1 , i got my laptop from them..wont scam 100%

QUOTE(jimmykvt @ May 16 2011, 04:14 PM) The drivers and utilities disk (CD/DVD) comes together with the laptop. In Windows 7, when copying file from your harddisk to external harddisk (or vice versa) You will notice the data transfer rate is higher. Data transfer rate is shown in windows 7 but not in xp. its around 65 to 85 mb per sec...usb 3.0 can reach 100++ rite?
