Currently contemplating on getting a NP8150-S1 from Mucro but confused about the regional warranty thing. What's the main purpose. :confuse:

Under regional warranty. You pay to send to Singapore or Malaysia for servicing, We pay for the parts shipment to/from USA. This is a required step. We send it to you free after the item is fixed. You can send big or small items or walk into the service centre and have it looked at. You need to contact us for tech support first before we pay the service centre for you to look at the problem.

Under No warranty you pay to send to us plus you also have to pay for the US shipping of parts and laptop.
Or you can send the entire thing yourself to the USA. There is no tech support. It is very expensive. For any serious problems, normally you have to send to the USA. The local servicing is useful when it is out of warranty and you can usually get cheaper servicing after warranty. You also normally need to put in a deposit before you get Sager to send anything to you if it is a small part that needs to be serviced.

Which one? NP8130 or NP8150?

8130 should have more battery life, in theory (with the GPU being 460m)

But reportedly it's 2-3 hours long. Give me the weekend to sort many questions out haha and will put a big review up by the end of this week.

Think of Clevo as, providing the chassis or housing and designs.

And think of Sager as a company marketing these designs.

Just get a cheap laptop to help you get through Uni first. Grad and work. Then get a Sager. By then they would be way more powerful than they are now and the batteries would last longer I guess. Save the money for rainy days. Getting the laptop last year was a serious distraction.
