QUOTE(empty-ball @ Feb 20 2011, 08:08 PM) Hi, all pro here. D3100 for sure. Latest model.I am newbie here. I need opinion , comment advice from you all. I planning to buy Nikon D3100, is it ok for newbie ? I am still compare within Canon 1000D and Nikon D3100. I mam still a student , due to budget is tight so only this two model is the cheapest i can get, so i hope to listen and get all the opinion and comment from you all so that i wont make any mistake from choosing a better camera. Thx a lot in advance. QUOTE(empty-ball @ Feb 20 2011, 08:24 PM) ok, but 1100 D haven come out...march or april i think. Even if 1100D is in the market, I personally think D3100 still better than 1100D. Google up and compare the spec for yourself, you may see a better and clearer picture D3100 better..?? Added on February 20, 2011, 8:28 pm Wat mean by AF ??? |

Some info gathered here. Nikon Service Centre @ Berjaya Times Square doesn't provide lens calibration service. Gotta go to Nikon Service Centre @ Petaling Jaya to do so.
Got nothing else to do, spam around and here are 2 images taken with 2 different lens for comparison, Nikkor 16-35mm f/4G and Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5. ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ![]() » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Feb 24 2011, 07:07 AM) QUOTE(Faint @ Feb 24 2011, 09:27 AM) haha, it's true that the ISO performance is better with CMOS. Just my personal opinion though, the photos captured by CCD has more "feel", colour perhaps? In terms of IQ, more or less the same. Again, just my personal opinion |

QUOTE(daze @ Feb 24 2011, 03:22 PM) what else they do when i sent my camera to service?? No harm asking what sorry, noob here. do they do all the cleaning on sensor, penta mirror, everything inside? recalibrate the camera? i'm sending my camera to replace the rubber thumb grip & pop-up flash cover. so might left the camera with them for hours.. so i'm thinking should i ask them service, clean...etc bla bla as well? QUOTE(Agito666 @ Feb 24 2011, 03:31 PM) i also wan to know, since i already long long time didnt service my D70s...top LCD already cannot display info normally...duno estimate had to spare out how much money. Gosh, the thing is, don't know whether they still have the spare parts or not (assume is hardware failure). Gotta order from Japan perhaps? And that shall take monthsss. They don't ship 1 item at a time |
