Bro, just unplug the phone from the modem and sell off the phone. I got RM150 by selling it LOL.

try to register with unifi agents. you will jump 1 working day of people who register online/at TM counter. with 2 installation per day, if you cut off 14 people, it's already 1 week. but you will not get 1 month free subscription.

the agents here is the real agent who have access to TM partner portal. ask them to open https://partners.unifi.my. if they have access, they can register you right away.

My home Streamyx is currently under my mom's name. Is it possible to upgrade to Unifi by just registering online without having to submit IC photocopies and stuff like that?

I won't be in KL on weekdays, otherwise it would be much easier.

I upgraded to unify VIP5 earlier this week. I already bitterly regret doing so. The only things that are fast are the unify speedometer, speedtest.net and downloads from Tawain. At least with Streamyx my kids could access Facebook.

Attached is my latest speed test from testmy.net - 3kB/s, same with other speedtests from UK. Can't wait to see what the speed is like once capping starts.

There's ip access firewall being activated. It blocks access from internal port or the range of 192.168.100.*

That's the reason you are able to access to web/ssh for a sec and it gets blocked.

I wonder does anyone have fiber switch? Perhaps we can access from another interface? or has anyone opened up this Huawei modem and look for terminal access?

My unifi service was installed on 13-1-2011 at Sungai Long area. All things seems ok in the beginning except some bad signal once in a while. However recently, my service is totally out. No internet, no tv, no phone. So I filed a report to TM Unifi on 3-3-2011. Report number: 1839281899. They said they will look into it, and the technical agent will contact me to verify the status. However until today 8/3/2011, I still have not received any update from their side. And instead I have to call in everyday to the unifi customer service to check and enquire about the problem. And every time I called in I have to at least wait for 10-15 mins before I was attended to. And sometimes the line even get cut off during the conversation and I have to called again and wait and wait. Just a frustrating experience dealing with Unifi.

Just made a call to customer service again, they mentioned they don’t have much information to update me cause they also have no info or update from the 2nd level. 2nd Level is in charging the technical issues. So they just ask me to wait again as there is nothing they can do about it. And there is nothing I could do either.

What’s happening with this TM Unifi thing??? What’s happening to the customer service and technical service? even though they mention 24/7 service, and I don’t think they are doing it. Or else I don’t think they’ll need such a long time just to handle this little problem. I would demand for compensation if this is still not solved in a timely manner.

Really hope that TM-Unifi will take a deep and clear look into this issue.
