woa ... when i check xda website just now, Nightelf has released the latest custom kernel for Neo. SO I can't wait to try because it has support for stock rom.

What I really interested in the kernel is the support for swap (swap2cache uses unused cache partition) and NTFS. Other features I haven't tested (or really do not need) yet. I had to disable v6turbocharger, perhaps it has already memory management functions. Now I always have > 200MB free RAM! rclxms.gif
Attached Image

Now I can connect my thumbdrive with NTFS formatted (copy movie > 2GB), play heavy games smoothly brows.gif The navigation .... still smooth and snappy wow ... and yes, it has options to overclock but I leave the phone at stock speed to save battery let it cool. Usually custom kernel like inteks has pre-overclock setting which I don't like and hate to mess with voltage and governor.

more info here

Couldn't be happier ... don't jelly whistling.gif

p/s: there are also mod to free 40MB of free space in Neo too. thumbup.gif

in short, its a custom kernel? and to install that kernel, just boot in fastboot mode and install? pre-managed tweaks? cannot alter the settings anymore after install or what? clash with v6? i think can use on PRO kua..but im not willing to try..trolololololo~ tongue.gif

yeah .. its custom, just flash in fastboot. Can alter the setting but I didn't understand some of the safe values for voltage, and cpu governors. I prefer stock to save battery, that's all. Looks like battery consumption is very good! And I can o/c anytime I want.

i personally dun advice to install cm7 as it still consists of bugs and unusable functions.
