QUOTE(ky_khor @ Dec 28 2011, 12:09 PM) ... I've turned off Bravia engine, brightness control at lowest. TimeScape sync off. Background traffic: tick Activate auto-sync: not tick Default Apps running: Gmail Facebook Google Map GtalkOther Apps: WhatApps Skype Facebook MessengerThese are the battery killer. Mine can last 8am-12am down to 15-20%. With maximum tweaking (downclock to 256mhz, disable lots of stuff, dim down backlight, etc...) my set can last 40h!

QUOTE(FatalitY @ Dec 29 2011, 10:03 AM) Bravia engine turn off no point. I believe Bravia engine is only if you take pictures. It really looks awesome with it. Nice crispy and sharp. Im using FF and I dont surf fb much with it. I do read on emails and its annoying with the notification tone I have hahaha. Otherwise, I switch between data plan and wifi depending if it is reachable. WiFi memang drains battery more thn 3g. Unless u turn on fb 24 hours then u will drain ur battery a lot. Logically speaking, do you turn on ur facebook on 24 hours with u gluing on the screen? U will go insane. Haha...! So its advisable that u turn on whn u wanna see wats happening. Same theory as u going to ur pc to see facebook though its turned on 24 hours. Ur pc runs on power cable, ur phone runs on battery pack. Bravia engine is meant to provide better display, it got nothing to do with taking picture. It can be proven by copy the picture taken to PC and compare side by side. The phone can shown clearer output due to that. On the other hand, I off the timescape integration.

QUOTE(Joker4Eva @ Jan 7 2012, 01:54 PM) Also heard that story when researching about these two models... Was REALLY wanting that Neo, but I've heard that the Neo V was faster... that, plus the fact that the Neo V was receiving Ice Cream Sandwich earlier than Neo, made the decision so damn difficult... Trust me, you don't really need a faster phone that drain your battery faster, because you won't be utilize the extra mhz. Besides, Neo and Neo V had the same 1ghz Snapdragon processor so they should be the same. SE is somewhat optimize their firmware that it run things smooth even with single core. As for the ICS issue, don't worry as sooner or later you'll get them, as SE promised. Not like without that your phone cannot run.

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Jan 10 2012, 02:08 AM) those who use neo.. are there any problem with the phone? like sgs2 got camera crash, lg optimus got reboot issue. what bout this? No problem at all. This topic is the join threads of Xperia Neo, NeoV and Pro, because: 1. They three looks alike. 2. Neo is not officially available here in Malaysia, those sets you would buy is all AP set. 3. SE is the underdog in Android, but that does not meant it is not good. In fact I think that they are doing better job to satisfy the customer than other competitors. Just look at how they prepare all their 2011 phones for ICS updates vs Samsung...
