Last I updated from .368 to .42 firmware using wotanserver was smooth and easy.

I managed to save the temporary cache files for updating. Now I do not know what to do with it.

i wonder why full qwerty phone now less appealing than stripped down qwerty phone ..
*
maybe that's just you tongue.gif

maybe full qwerty not so suitable for small mobile device, and it doesn't suit all type of users

The only major problem Im facing is that I am not able to detect my own home wifi. Otherwise I can detect elsewhere's wifi. Sound is good.

Change setting for your Home wifi.

Using WEP, I can't detect it. If using WPA-PSK, it can use wifi easily. Perhaps because lousy Telekom router.

worth money buying this phone. I nearly bought SG Ace or Galaxy S ... after I compared the price, functions and specifications, it is wiser to buy this phone.

Just want to ask Neo user... This device come with USB OTG feature or not?
*
Yes NEO come with USB-OTG feature. U need to update to the latest firmware .368 or .42 to enjoy it.

I am a Neo user and sometimes using a wireless keyboard with it. However it doesnt support USB mass storage officially.

jeopardise..how to change the background on the Neo V for the "slide to unlock" background?
as in..the background when the NeoV is locked and we have to slide to unlock it..tq tq tq tq icon_question.gif
*
The images for the "slide to unlock" are located in the /system/framework/framework-res.apk :res\drawable-hdpi"

To change it you'll gonna need root access, APK tool to extract and recompile it. You need to overwrite the old file and set the correct permissions. If anything went wrong, you'll need to reflash. I haven't tried editing APK by myself yet so I can't guarantee the result. You may seek guides from xda-developers forum.

So that is how.

However there are some tool in the Market to change the lockscreen (which I haven't tried any because I am very happy with the stock theme)

Does PRO got OTG thing also?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just wanna ask,
do we really need a class 4 above for SD memory?
now i using a class 2 8gb only. Thinking to change 16gb/32gb.
but class 10 is quite expensive doh.gif
want to use cheap one like class 4~6. Will it effect the speed of loading?
*
YES, it support OTG

Buy class 10 16GB, you won't regret it. I saw garage sale sell for RM95. It reads and writes faster especially during file transfer from PC or loading the gallery.

It is a bit expensive but it pays back.

I've used class 4 before using class 10, my data always corrupted.

Oh ... there's review on Xperia Neo on Fudzilla ...

If I am not mistaken it is for Gingerbread 2.3.3.

I've tried it and doesn't work with Neo (and Pro too I think)

I'm looking to get a cover/casing for Neo-V..can anyone tell me where I can find this; Neo-V Soft Plastic Case

i am not sure if Neo V size is about the same size as Neo, you can find in here.

I prefer using flip leather case as it will protect screen as well. I've accidentally dropped my phone once with screen side first touching the ground, and the RM20++ case saved it from any scratch. sweat.gif

I read somebody turned off Bravia Engine to save battery and I think it won't work that way.

my usage drains battery fast anyday; I used Opera, FB and with Music player.

Enabling Wifi drains battery lot faster than 3G.

I charged 1-2 times a day sweat.gif

To solve battery problem I bought Yoobao battery charger pack (4800mAh). This battery pack charges my phone quickly and when charging, it'll stop charging automatically when battery is full and my phone won't overcharge.

Yea, my leather case looks ugly and its magnet so powerful that can ruin magnetic parking ticket easily, but I care about my phone itself.

Anyone using Xperia Pro please share with me the pros and cons of ur own experience using it.. I saw one for RM738 new in Miri.. so.. kinda interested hehe..
*
i think the only downside of pro is to find the accessories such as protective cover. installing the skin i.e idefence sounds troublesome for amateurs.

other than that maybe its higher price and for its software really depends on SE & 3rd party developers to provide it.

well thats just my opinion. RM700++ is really cheap... and i think actually it is the price for MINI Pro :-\

u sure rm7xx???!!! coz new AP set in KL is rm9xx and Ori is rm13xx. seriously new set or not that unit? feel like a scam wor. rm7xx suits more to a new Ori Xperia Mini Pro price.

can give me link for zergrush? im now reading on rooting a boot-loaded unit for PRO..needa get some kind of code from SE official website stuff like that. so now ur recovery app is what?
*
here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1320350

i just tried zergrush and its quite hard with adb stuffs. it is (lots) easier if using rootXperia with CMW method with bootloader unlocked.

you have to read a lot before rooting, as precaution
