no worries about single core. it is fast n snappy. with Andreno 205 graphic is better than galaxy S. one downside is that the internal memory should be larger.

this phone price made me think it is wise to buy it.

I use the basic copy and paste only ... I use no apps for back up. Copying to/from a fast microSD really saves time too.

I also agree. Especially the bass level is lower than my Walkman phone. However the audio quality is crisp clear with my Neo. You can use Winamp or other app with equalizer to enhance the audio experience.

However I wonder if using Hifi Livesound how would it be?

I usually use the automatic detect network setting by Sony Ericsson option. When I use DiGi setting, my 3D won't work.

I bought an OTG cable from here and it detect my mouse and keyboard properly. (i am using Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 3000 and actually adding this post with it).

Really weird to use a big keyboard with a 3.7 inch screen tongue.gif ... however my USB drives didn't work yet as expected. My gamepad consumed too much power.

Can't wait for Livedock to come. Perhaps expensive too tongue.gif

so this means that Pro doesn't have USB OTG? was it hardware restriction or it will be updated later?

user posted image

there is a rectangle shape usb. u need to update the firmware with otg support like 2.3.4. however, usb mass storage not supported so far. Howver to enable mass storage, head to xda-developer forum for an instruction to enable it.

I do not have USB hub to test. If I do, I'll update here with details.

As for thumbdrive/mass storage, I'll been looking for solution in xda-developer forum

Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...6&highlight=otg

You need rooted phone for this to work. I haven't personally tested this however.

I think OTG support or not depends on Sony. I think they will only support OTG using the live lock only. So other cable will have to use alternate methods.

OMG! how u do tat?
install via fastboot?
i tried install clockmod and failed to do so when i enter command prompt
*
Need with root access and root explorer, involved changing permission, overwrite files and reboot.

Battery mod, I found the info here

The Notification toggle mod, I got the info from here. This has 8 scrollable options which is more complete than the other toggle mod (usually has only 6 icons).

I with you'll do it right smile.gif

This mod saved some RAM and loading time of my Neo. Previously using widgets which eat some resource. I really need to see how many % battery left without opening any program or setting. Other than that, faster access to BT, Wifi etc and saves space on my home screen. thumbup.gif

you need root explorer.

in "/system/" I enable R/W

then I paste systemUI.apk from SDcard in the folder. Set the permission to rw-r--r--

then i move the file into /system/app after I set permission successfully. you can't set permission in SDcard filesystem.

Overwrite and reboot.

The same goes to framework-res.apk, but it is in /system/framework

I didn't use clockmod. I think the steps I used is a lot simpler. If somehow I got bootloop, then I need to use recovery. But so far I have no issues like bootloop and missing contacts like other forumers did.

Hope you can do it, and share your screenshot smile.gif

good luck!

btw, i m using the .apk for 4.0a.2.0.42 firmware without reboot mod.

They say reboot isn't working (yet) with Neo

Backup your files first before you make any changes

Thanks mate. Will try once I am home! wink.gif

I've just tried the Battery mod with Reboot option, and it works with Neo biggrin.gif
Need reboot because I always did some testing with program & phone :“) ... When i connect to MSC mode/charging, it need to wait for SE logo animation & battery icon to switch the phone back on.

However, the light behind [Back|Home|Option] button does not light up, an issue which is suspected with this mod. Hope they will fix this, but was negligible for me.

I will study if there are any effects with the stability and power drain.

Attached Image

Hmmm hands so itchy sweat.gif

Issues so far:
1. Some shortcuts in the home screen is gone. You have to make the shortcut again.
2. Icons in apps screen need to re-arrange. Have to arrange them manually again. No apps gone or deleted.
