Threat still alive? XP
Had mine last year and spoiled it after 9 months (or 1 year? I forgot already, got it march 2012). Unable to claim warranty cause I would need to ship all the way back to CHina and cause me rm40 lol. BTW I tried to use the firmware updater to see what's wrong with my C30. It can detect the player, but showed this:"unable to write to device. Device Timeout" Anyone facing same problem? any known solution?? |

QUOTE(Lelouch @ Jan 23 2014, 11:44 PM) don't think there is any... gotta deal with this problem without updating firmware sadzit'll be best if you free the c30 memory for at least 100mb or more to prevent hang (or shift your music to external card) |

I've ha the hippo Gumstick and the Cube C30. They both sound exactly alike, but the Hippo came with better IEMs.
No more in production. I sure am gonna miss the power that these little things had, and the full sound. |

QUOTE(Kyozen @ Aug 7 2014, 02:35 PM) Hey guys, i havent touch my c30 for like almost a year and i cant seem to turn it on anymore =( Most probably the battery just died.tried charging but nothing appear on screen and cant even detect it on my pc. tried resetting but nothing happens too... any of you guys got solution? Batteries degrade over time on its own, and it can't accept current anymore to rearrange the ions. One way is to charge it using a charger with much more current than is specified . I forgot the rating for the C30 but it should be 500mA. So try 2A from a USB charger. If it turns on, switch it over to an ordinary charging method (USB port or USB charger with similar amperage). Even so, it won't hold charge like it used to. If you can't turn it on, don't risk finding an even higher amperage for a battery this tiny. If you can find an electronics expert, have it opened and replace the battery. Rechargeable batteries don't like having little charge for long periods of time. The chemicals in there becomes useless. The proper way of taking care of any device with a rechargeable battery is to not let the device die of power starvation. I like mine to never go below 20% for every recharge, for every device. Can't think of any other way.
I've only ever used the c30 with win xp. This post has been edited by VagueConcerns: Jan 5 2018, 04:00 PM |
