mine last for almost 3years....still tough, with weekly/daily used

Need some help here... I played the songs from 'Internal Media' to 'External Media', when the songs in 'External Media' are played and I off the player, the list would start from the first song in 'Internal Media'.

Then, I tried move all the songs to the microSD, and everytime the player is turned off and on again, the screen will show '0.00/0.00 000/000' at the duration and song number (you should know what I mean, right? ), then shows 'Initializing, please wait', then the song list starts from the first song again

e.g, I am at the 50th song, turn off player, on again, 'Initializing', start from first song.

Browse through all the setting, but I still don't know how to deal with this problem. Please help...

C30 doesn't include any function to remember where it stopped during the last session. I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work.

p/s: I sort my files by folder btw, so what I played the last time doesn't matter to me.

Well, it works on the internal media, it would return to the song where it last stopped, 'Initializing', then the song would replay again.

Yeah I was thinking about sorting the songs by folder too... Thanks!

Updated: tried sorting the files by folders, still same, it will return to the very first song of the first folder.
So now using only the internal memory since my songs don't exceed 4GB

bought it from a friend who stockpiled them before they stop production..

full of Free losless music in my player..

Most probably battery connection to circuit is broken. or battery is unable to hold charge.

downside to these products are the durability...
i'm interested in the sansa clip+ or the cube c30 for jogging/exercise uses but i've read a number of complains that they usually die off after a year ish?
Especially sansa clip products... anyone has both and had them for more than a year? Would like to hear how they are holding up after some abuse and time..

I have another portable player for more serious listening, but would prefer a mini light sized one for jogging. I'm leaning towards the clip just for the clip part! i know the SQ for both is around the same, more concern for the durability and the stability =)
