QUOTE(sctheng @ Feb 23 2011, 04:38 PM)
From 2010 Insight Manual :

"Break-in Period :

Help assure your vehicle’s future
reliability and performance by paying
extra attention to how you drive
during the first 600 miles (1,000 km).
During this period:
-Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid
acceleration.
-Do not change the oil until the
scheduled maintenance time
-Avoid hard braking for the first
200 miles (300 km).
"

Thanks for the quote. I think all new Honda Insight owner think twice before pushing your car hard for the
first 1000km.

After habis pantang I will test it kaw kwa...
By the way, when I want to show to my friends and I start the car and leave it idle than the fc will turn lower to 15.5km/l, that's why earlier the fc was not good because the always left in idle mode and the computer still calculate the fc

Don't worry bro... Even my City can reach 21.5KM/L... Insight is way beyond that when driving in city... Highway nth much different as most time you cruise without the need of IMA.

I think for insight and all other CBU cars, the mileage upon delivery would be a bit more than other CKD's. Reason being I understand they will need to drive to Puspakom for inspection before registration. Not sure if I am right. Do correct me if otherwise.

Just sharing my 2 sens...
