Sorry to interrupt all sifu's busy time, can anyone recommend a facebook widget to display current status correctly?

I got the widget from Ovi and the status not updating, so I remove it, heard about the facebrick but seems people complain not working anymore...and it is in dev section =.=

yeah I know open the webpage directly but I just want a quick glance on latest status

p.s. I think the image uploader working but I still need the post update
thanks

Hm....seems I got my first problem with N900

Not knowing why, my application manager suddenly on strike, it said operation failure, from the log, it shows:-

hildon-application-manager 2.2.71
apt-worker exited
apt-worker:too weak to get lock from 1524
read:Bad file descriptor

I got this before, reboot the phone and it is back to normal, but it creep back again, I don't think I install anything lately

cheers man..try to disable all the repositories, exit app manager..reboot phone..then open up app manager..enable again all the repos..if it didn't work..delete all repos, then add again 1 by 1..it should fix it literally..
*
when it shows operation failure, there is nothing inside app manager, I can't even use uninstall doh.gif
last move is to shutdown whole phone and start again. I normally use xter to reboot, seems it is not a good idea doh.gif now uninstalling unuse theme/program to clear up rootfs in case caused by it...what is the safe remaining mb for rootfs? after clearing all those unuse prog, I got 73mb now

that's more than enough..mine is only 43mb...

then rootfs is not the main cause, wonder what causing the error rclxub.gif

checked at talk maemo also found no results, they just kill the error PID or just restart the phone, some say is the appdownloader causing the error and suggest use fapman instead

nope, it's either work or not work, not half half

must be your router WIFI problem, open up the conky and check the efficiency of the WIFI connection, might be too low causing data corruption

you're welcome, I myself also got the problem with app manager, I think I can pinpoint the start of problem, install an corrupted deb file bounce back an error msg, then the problem start.

I shutoff the phone and restart, over 24 hours, still working fine...keep my finger cross rolleyes.gif

try connect again success and the same thing don't know what it says device successful installed and ask for connection network setting again, press home network and zap!, restart again.

Dang. Wonder if my E71 can join lol, now that it's FINALLY out of the hospital (took it TWO MONTHS!).

On a totally untwisted note, currently theming an modding every nook and cranny of my TelefonSaya. It needs a dual pane version of iFile stat to aid my modding - terminal'ing with no hardware keys is excruciating.

And it's reminding me of my N900 days somehow *cry*

I miss my N900.

I see some people start to sell off their phone, why don't you buy it

fmms make use of the data transfer, plus your mms charges, maybe that the cause?

n900 can receive mms, but cannot send mms rite? (by default)
*
no, it works both way and it is working fine with me, both send and receive, all the time, still using v1.3 rolleyes.gif

somehow Digi has reroute my mms via push mail method, so when I got mms, it will inform me and I have to open fmms and download it...is it the way it should be?

sorry misunderstood your comment, by default N900 can't send nor receive yawn.gif

Added on March 5, 2011, 10:27 pmaiyo, I pening with the Hermes, it just wrong mix match with my contact!!

I'm using digi too. At first i received the push mail thingy. Later, i called the service center and tell them that my phone is capable of receiving mms. And after that they changed my digi account setting. Now fmms is working fine the way it should be. Why dont try to give the digi helpline a call?  smile.gif

Ah lun1986, you can refer to the first page of this thread. Under the post number #5. If you want to format your EMMC (your N900 32GB), use the command "flasher-3.5.exe -F EMMC.bin -f -R" where EMMC is the "51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM.bin" file. Then don't forget to flash your phone using the above method as referred to post number 5. For your external memory card, I think there is no problem for you to format it. You can format it using your phone as well. Good luck! I hope it will work for you biggrin.gif
*
My side here totally different, my mms lost in the way, I can send but never receive. after 3 days of tinkering around, finally Digi change something there and cna work already. so you see i am worry new mms will cause it not working again sweat.gif

Because of AV output and headphone not working then flash the phone sweat.gif

have you try other headphone? N900 seems very picky with headphone(an a headphone serial killer too tongue.gif ), so far I read in TM, bluetooth type headphone is the best solution.
tried once with AV output, hardly using it anyway, just for testing rolleyes.gif

p.s. not sure about the others, but the phone jack is very slow response, you have to plug in slow in, twist a bit, not direct go in, it won't detect

i am using the original headphone that come along in the box last time i purchase the phone from arista.
*
I suggest you re-download it, first the kernel rename to R then download the emmc and rename to RE

mine also original BH-701 and only sound output, mic not working doh.gif
so I don't bother reclaim it and plan to get a BT headphone later
