Hey,just wanna ask something.A year ago,I bought a PG 00-Raiser together with the 2-Way Stand and Complete Clear Parts,but I haven't assemble it until now.But now,I feels like selling it and get a PG Strike Freedom + Mirrored SF Display Stand.I'm actually a huge fan of the Strike Freedom.I collect almost every kits for it and of course,except the PG since it's more expensive than normal gunplas.The only way I can afford it is by selling my PG 00-Raiser.So,my questions are ;
1)Is it a wise choice to get PG SF instead of PG 00R??
2)Which one is better in your opinion??Any drawbacks of any of the model kits??
3)What is the market price for a PG 00R + 2-Way Stand nowadays??How about the Clear Parts??
I'm thinking of asking my usual gunpla shop (the place I bought the PG 00R) if he'll accept trade in.
Thanks in advance~

QUOTE(zheyuen @ Mar 17 2011, 07:39 PM) where to get tamiya/mr hobby aqueous acrylics actually ah? You might wanna give the brand Pelikan a try, although it's slightly glossy. It washes off easily with water.
There are several types (some are for fabric, some for handicrafts, some for plastic/glass surfaces) so be sure you get the right type.
QUOTE(aezsky @ Mar 17 2011, 07:39 PM) So,my questions are ; 1)Is it a wise choice to get PG SF instead of PG 00R?? 2)Which one is better in your opinion??Any drawbacks of any of the model kits?? 3)What is the market price for a PG 00R + 2-Way Stand nowadays??How about the Clear Parts?? 1) Personally, no. 2) Judging from MG 00R's pictures, the PG holds an advantage in the looks department. The same can't be said for PG SF when compared to its MG. Articulation-wise, PG 00R is better due to its design. Both also suffers from back-heavy issues, but PG SF is the one that breaks often. 3) With stand is around RM780~850. Clear parts alone around RM180~200.
PG 00R's clear parts are kinda useless unless you are a modeller. Bandai already gave its warning:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « In order to build a Perfect Grade 00 Raiser using all of the clear armor parts, an unbuilt 00 Raiser kit is needed. (In other words, you have to add the parts as you build, and cannot add all of them later once the model has been assembled.)
If you try to remove the armor parts from an already-built PG 00 Raiser, you will find there are some parts that physically cannot be removed, and some other parts are likely to be broken if you try to forcibly remove them. Therefore some parts absolutely cannot be replaced if starting with an already-built model. Your understanding on this point will be appreciated. Also, there is a risk of breaking the clear parts contained in the original PG 00 Raiser kit, and these clear parts are not included in the clear armor parts set.
Due to the nature of the material used in the clear armor parts set, once a PG 00 Raiser has been assembled using the clear armor parts, there is risk of damage if you attempt to remove the clear armor parts and replace them. The clear armor parts cannot be removed and replaced after they are put onto the model. My suggestion: keep the PG 00R and its stand, sell off the clear parts. PG looks better than MG 00R, and even if you don't feel like picking up the MG too, just wait for MG 007S.
QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 17 2011, 08:48 PM) now also wonder the strike RG will be easily break since i got NG/ TV grade 1/100 Aile Strike before, the aile backpack got 1 joint and if pull and push in the body for sometimes it will snap. So was PG Aile Strike's. It should be able to withstand the weight without a problem. You should be more worried about the Gundam leaning to the back by itself.
QUOTE(General_Nic @ Mar 17 2011, 09:14 PM) Wanna ask, if jz want to apply a flat topcoat, shud spray b4 or after assembling? Wrong section to ask, but you could do it either way or both ways. If before, make sure you remove them from the runners first.
