QUOTE(KidsCode @ Feb 20 2011, 03:13 AM) cheers for the frustration mate! Added on February 22, 2011, 12:25 am QUOTE(reez_haris @ Feb 20 2011, 04:14 AM) Chill la....they are getting back to their old form. I know we lost another possibility of trophy addition in the display cupboard. But UCL is still on sight. Heck even Arsenal can defy the impossible, beating barca after a goal down. Just concentrate for UCL next year position in the league and UCL competition . I think when we lay our hands off the FA cup, we got less match to deal with and got fresher leg for UCL. I'm supporting Chelsea through thick and thin. how bout u? Added on February 22, 2011, 12:27 am QUOTE(madfag @ Feb 20 2011, 06:47 PM) yes we have the right to properly critisize but never condemn the players, manager or owner. WE'ALL criticize, condemn because of 1 thing: WE LOVED CHELSEA FC. if you do, you might as well support barcelona or something. one life. one love. one club. carefree since 1905. if you wanna celebrate the glory, you have to go through the pain. Ramires-Essien-Lampard.
I was hoping Josh to replace Lampard or Essien. Wow, Malouda new hair cut make him looks like Gyan |

i agree with ericling, the midfield needs a change and josh should definitely fill in for either Lampsy or Ess. both seniors have been inconsistent with their performance. they are just not up to par. Josh's enthusiasm might push himself to play harder and better.
hopefully Torres will open his account. |

Hmm mixed feelings about this one. i hope carlo brings off either one of essien or lamps at half time if they look lethargic and Copenhagen park the bus. Its obvious josh’s level of creativity is better than two put together, but I’m guessing torres will help with our conversion rate that was lacking in the last match. Have a good feeling he’s going to get his first goal in blue! Leaning slightly towards a kalou/torres combo, but didier showed a bit of his old self vs everton and warrants a start.

i would say start with Josh right away to make a point to Essien and Lampard. so far, all the minutes that Josh has played, he has never disappoint. like Ramires, he only gets better. so why not start the young lad? to be honest, we've got nothing to lose, and i personally think that he is good enough. if arsenal can play wilshere, we can play mceachran.
i really admire david villa. i look at his workrate and its amazing, plus he is not young, yet he chases down defenders and pressure them to pass the ball fast. he makes good runs, he assist and he scores. all those qualities but being the center forward in barcelona. i rarely see such qualities in a center forward. yes, didi scores goals and has one of the highest assist last season but sometimes you can see the laziness in him getting back onside and if he is deep, you dont see him making runs into the box. the same goes for Torres. he does look pretty lazy sometimes, and his dribbling is also out of sorts. |

Looks like we're having some pressure there.
I just love formation talk, let's start with my preferred formation for tonight game. -----------------cech--------------- bosinwa--ivanovic--terry--ashley -------ramires-------Josh-------- ---------------lampard------------- -Anelka---------------------------Malouda -----------------torres---------------- Kalou and Malouda are given the job of running out wide, providing some width play. Of course, our full back, bosingwa and ashley provide some width from back too. Kalou to make an impact as a super sub for Malouda or Anelka. Josh is unlikely to start, but Essien to replace the place. I don't start Drogba since we need some wing play from our team, I just can't fit him in right now. It really sounds that I am crying some width our team, but yeah, we need them badly. This post has been edited by ericling: Feb 22 2011, 02:46 PM |
