when we had terry, alex, and iva, my vote for most aggressive defender went to ivanovic. since the arrival of luiz, i think he's kicked iva off the top spot! but he needs to be more careful though...he must learn when its time to be aggressive and physical, and when to just put enough pressure and harass the strikers. very-very similar to riccy but dare i say, even better!

i would definitely stick with Carlo if i was roman. Ok so Chelsea might not win EPL crown this season but they are still in the contention to win Roman most eyed prize, UCL. Stick with Carlo to give that much needed stability. If Chelsea keep on changing manager every season then chelsea can easily be like Real MAdrid.

Ivanovic certainly have aggresion in his game and a little bit of flair. That flair coming from his spell as a right back last season which turn him into a more agile defender. David Luiz however, being a brazilian football, already possess that flair and ball playing ability in his game. we witnessed his quality as defender against MAn Utd and yes i agree with u, he is very similar to Carvalho only that he have more flair than Carvalho ever had.
