Audi car is better ....while three company combine into one brand to manufacturing the car....as the vw is only a company to make!
so you think which is better? I am very found of the passat coz very strong physical outlook as Audi also the same. Hard to different it as you if you like for Young and dynamic looking or feelings then Audi is for you. Passat is for business looks i mean executive type. Audi car design is very sexy and now they are many people copy their design of the head light. |

sorry for not making it clear...its audi a4 1.8 TFSI and the passat cc 2.0 TSI, heard many good things bout the audi a4 but the service centre seems to be lacking in some areas, the passat cc is a great car, but the rear light seems a bit korean-ish

I do love the exterior very much, indeed very nice and sexy especially these:
Xenon plus headlights with adaptive lights and LED daytime running lights LED rear tail lamps Exterior mirrors, electrically folding/adjustable/heated Exterior mirrors with integrated LED turn signals Automatic headlight-range adjustment Front (halogen) and rear fog lights Headlight washers Talking about the LED lights and the LED rear tails lamps. They done a good jobs here. You can see now many people buy the LED light and follow the way of put the LED on the Front and Rear side of the car. Beside the Audi have 7 speed auto gear. damm nice. QUOTE(vampireangel1984 @ Feb 5 2011, 10:56 AM) well, it shall be all right. You know their car sales is not so good therefore in-order to fight the others car brand is give a good service on after sale service. You can see they are very good at this, while when your car is almost to the end of the warranty, they will help you to change those parts that is faulty. It is amazing !! This is what i call good services. |

why not consider Mercedes-Benz C200 CGI ?
Luxury , performance & comfort all together don't worry about the new C-class will be out anytime soon , coz it will get facelift for 2011 , should be due for replacement in 2014-2015, if the 7 yr life cycle applies This post has been edited by AiRBooM: Feb 5 2011, 09:33 PM |

the audi i like it is because a) it is sexy and good looking b) unrivalled interior c) the power comes when ever i want it d) image cons: a) poor after sales service b) long waiting time b) Added on February 5, 2011, 1:03 pmthe vw passat cc, y i like it a) just gorgeous b) interior quality is good nbut losing to the audi c) great customer service, 5 years warranty cons: a) image b) handling? i dont know, never did tested the passat cc, drove my fren's a4 once and it is just brilliant Added on February 5, 2011, 1:03 pmmaybe some1 can share their rel life experience with the passat cc? QUOTE(Oldskolboyz @ Feb 5 2011, 01:37 PM) Hehe, what a weird comparison. Accord & Camry both can not compare to Audi at all. Comfort wise, passat & audi is about there, you can't feel too significant different. Performance wise, of course the 2.0 passat way better than the A4 1.8, sorry to say I am not impressed by the A4 1.8. Passat truly a value buy when compared to 2.0 Merce, BMW & Audi. TS, i am very much like you doing some info search on the next purchase. However, Passat & A4 1.8 both not in my consideration list. I've shortlisted C250 & IS250. A4 2.0 on the other hand is great, but the price just too expensive imo. I like IS250 becos of its interior and it is not that much otr too. Anyway, to answer your question, passat should be the one to go for (resell value could be worst than audi though). But most importantly, you must buy a car you have the feel and like the most. Otherwise, you will keep regretting even though if you are driving the best car in the world but u just don't like it.This post has been edited by lovehewit: Feb 5 2011, 02:34 PM |

Hmm, correct me if I'm wrong here, but are you aware that the Passat CC is only a 4-seater? That seems to be a deal-breaker for some.
I know that there is a 5-seater option in some other parts of the world, but not sure about Malaysia. |

Very costly to change a new one. Added on February 5, 2011, 4:00 pmI do like give some advise here while i am not helping Audi or VW. Actually both of them are good car. Buyer should know that both of them are good car and while the car is brand new is ok only when after when the car is old. You may face some difficulty on getting servicing parts as fast as our Japanese car that is easy to get. You may need sometime to get. Now days the car are equip with lots of electrical parts and component. The more newer of the car more difficult to maintain or taking care off. When servicing the car you need to send it to specialist or the place that you get. Actually we are worry that shall the importer does really give a good services or not. Hope they will be here when we need them. Well now days buyer are smarter while do know what to do ? or even where to get parts? So talking how to get parts is very easy. Getting a right car that will suit your need is most important. Audi and VW are Germans made car so that they are all right, and we can get lots of Parts from Singapore. IMHO, base A4 is nothing to shout about. If you want to be individualistic get the Passat CC. It makes so much sense. A premium range car vs base range, Passat CC wins hands down on specs and performance. No contest. P.s so many A4s on the road..with recons coming in. If you got money to spare...how about the A5!!!! Merc C250 CGI produces 204hp 310nm torque. To some ppl it's more than adequate already.

QUOTE(climacool @ Feb 4 2011, 02:18 AM) Still hesiting? Tested the Passat CC 2.0 tsi. Wheel spin on take off everytime since FWD. Responsiveness of car to throttle inputs is great. 6spd DSG is also fast and responsive. Sport setting on adaptive suspension is too jiggly. Normal setting gives the best ride handling compromise.I will pick... VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT CC 1) Best Performances car under value RM300k 2) International Engine of the Year 3) Premium Executive Car of The Year 2010 4) New Straits Times/ Maybank Car of the Year Awards 2010 5) Auto Car Asean Award: Compact Luxury Sedan 6) Good Design Award 7) Overall Car of the Year 2010 8) Euro Car body award 2009 9) Most Improved Brand in Malaysia: Volkswagen and many more.. Attractive features and performances Now come with 5 seaters (last time was 4 seaters) ...and 5 yrs warranty giving u peace of mind "but the rear light seems a bit korean-ish"... I had the same thinking like you at 1st ...try to judge that car at different angle.. Tested the Mondeo 2.0 Ecoboost as well. 203hp 300Nm 6 speed Dual clutch. Engine is sweeter and quieter than Passat CC. Ride comfort and steering accuracy also beats Passat CC. Hmm ... this Mondeo is really comfy, quiet and yet a great drivers car! Only one thing lets down the drive .... the responsiveness just feels SLOW inspite of the dual clutch gearbox. Stomp on the accelerator and pick up feels slow at the start but picks up quickly a while later. I guess price may be around RM200K - 210K for Mondeo Ecoboost vs RM245K for Passat CC. One other thing.... Mondeo body and doors feel real solid. Passat CC feels flimsy comparatively. After testing both, can't say which one I prefer overall..... tough choice! Wonder how is the resale value of either car since not popular choices in M'sia. Cheers..... |

QUOTE(gladfly @ Apr 11 2011, 04:48 PM) AFAIK...same HP figures for the Compressor and CGI. I think torque, CGI is a little better. To me C-Class still slow..but not as slow as the 320 petrol la..that is a slow car. 320d different story all together la... 320i slow because it's a NA engine , compare to 320d turbocharged diesel , A4 turbocharged as well , C-class also turbo , passat CC also turbo of course the NA engine is slow.... only NA 325i and above can match those i mentionedbut the coming new 3 series F30 will equip with turbo engine , so it's fair and square now This post has been edited by AiRBooM: Apr 26 2011, 11:21 PM |

A friend drove the 160hp version of that 1.8, very efficient engine for a petrol. Other than that dunno. Should be a good car.

Better get the facelifted 170hp 1.8TFSI variant. The engine has 2 injection modes, MPI & FSI. Solved the issue of carbon deposit on valves over time that haunts the earlier gen TFSI engine. |

Audi A4 is a very good car and petrol consumption is only 15 sen per km for city used. I am not sure about VW Passat.
