Okay... i just got a wierd experience... Full wipe whole system... Flash newly custom made one... and i got stock rom..?

It look stock... Contain stock apps... And even stock name... The only thing change the kernel... Duh... Either my kitchen made mistake or CMW screw up...

Yeah home made rom... using Asia rom as a source... been doing this on wildfire and my old desire... but cant seem to get it right with DHD... cry.gif

It only make sense if the mobile data is on G... while on 3G or H it wont have that problem... E i cant remember... It like the old 56k modem... when call come in line disconnect... smile.gif

Just wanna share some apps... been looking for a way to effectively block a call on my android phone since desire... Stock block call apps on DHD is trash without white-list and block all call option... And now i found one apps that do what i want and working perfectly...

That's cause a 'theme' is actually modded versions of stock apps and stuff, like a modded framework.apk or a modded htclockscreen.apk. The modded apks then needed to be flashed over, thus overwriting the earlier stock apks. This is why the only way back is a nandroid backup.

Well, doing a nandroid backup doesn't really take so much time, and at least it guarantees complete restoration right? tongue.gif

Actually if you have the original framework.apk... u can easily replace it via adb or root explorer i think... similar task to change bootanimation... but i may be wrong...

Damn... having a hard way to restore CWM 2... >.< It seem CWM 3 nandroid backup and restore is broken... i cant restore backup made using CWM 2 & 3...

You don't need ENG S-Off if you just wanna flash CWM recovery... but you will need ENG S-Off if you wanna use "fastboot" command... Doing both also can...
