QUOTE(sharesa @ Feb 20 2011, 02:21 PM) around 2.00 abp for all the recent accumulation. Me too, been accumulating until abp at 2.05 (since 1.9x) now after last time sold all at only 1.44 (which bought lowest at 1.07 with abp 1.28). Last time bought 1.1x then sold in batches till 2.15. This time highly likely to keep for long term Last friday up around 5%, may wait for it to consolidate a little before continue to accumulate more. I guess next week is still on consolidating mood in overall market as regional market still at mix as it has been local funds who support the index instead of FF coming back in recently rebound. I am guessing (cherroy must say "i don't like guessing!" again. This post has been edited by yok70: Feb 20 2011, 03:35 PM |

QUOTE(kuluuluk @ Feb 20 2011, 03:53 PM) So u'r quite optimistic on US economy? even if they have high % of implementing QE3? . . . Sorry but has been really uneasy with US direction. In fact, I do.I look at it as "an investment". US government have to "invest" in their country by applying QE, and the "product" is "to help US people gain confidence of their economy", so that profit making companies start to hire more staffs, and people starts to consume more with their spare money. For instance, most Malaysians put a lot of their savings in FD (not even unit trust, since many of them once burnt, scare die die and won't touch it anymore), because they have been used to it since they have no experience of "being rich". If high % of us all put money on FD, our savings will be depreciating each year. This is no good. A country need middle class (the highest % of spending power in its populations) to become richer and willing to consume, as well as small to mid size companies willing to expand and hire more staffs. Just my view loh. Added on February 20, 2011, 4:30 pm QUOTE(Larrylow @ Feb 20 2011, 04:22 PM) I have no idea why. However, there are a lot of possible reasons for EPF to sell shares, be it politically or policy issue, or just a switch of interests. It's too difficult to dig out why they sell, unless they report it on newspaper. So, I'd rather judge by my view of the company's future + current PE. QUOTE(sharesa @ Feb 20 2011, 08:04 PM) even though EPF is disposing some, it's fine I think, as they are also buying in. It's alright that they do trading in this counter as this makes the counter liquid. If i remember correctly, EPF has at least 2 departments that trade stocks, and they are individual. So, it happens sometimes that one dept sells and the other one buys. |

KFC spent 1 month (mid jan to mid feb) to drop 6.x%.
Last friday, it spent 1 day to rebound 6.x%. This is what I called spent long time to drop, but lighting fast to rebound. Too bad, I didn't hold any KFC. I thought I could get it at 3.3x. Still got chance kah? This post has been edited by yok70: Feb 21 2011, 02:15 AM |

QUOTE(cks @ Feb 21 2011, 03:19 PM) fundamental maybe affected if they really start investigation on the company. Anyway, just my move to reduce risk, since i can't help holding too many high risk stocks in my profile (lately is the MEGB). Not a sell call for others.
