The cheapest mouse for steel series is which one? is it good?
*
You might want to consider the Kinzu Red.

Just grabbed a Xai and my first opinion is ''WTX, everything is so smooth, the coating, the mouse clicks and so on all are extremely smooth.''

Usually those jitter issues are not caused by a faulty mouse, usually it's how the tracking sensor behaves. sweat.gif

Simple explanation:

QUOTE
"Lift Distance: How far the mouse continues to track when you lift it vertically off your mouse pad. You want minimal lift distance because at the sensitivities most good players use, you will constantly be lifting up your mouse after swiping across your mouse pad with your arm to turn around."

Some SteelSeries products' retail pricing went up (e.g. 6Gv2). sweat.gif

huh? y suddenly went up o?
*
Not sure, seems like a re-planning by the local distributor. Some products went up while some products went down (for the retail price). Example of the one went down is the Shift keyboard.

However, prices for us also went up, I think it could be something to do with SteelSeries HQ side or something like that. Just speculating but it seems that SteelSeries is indeed becoming a "premium" now. laugh.gif

How much are we looking at now?
*
6Gv2 is now RM399 retail price. At the price it is at the moment, I wouldn't be surprise with consumers considering to import better options from overseas.

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ May 18 2011, 12:24 AM)
Xai and SS7G how? hmm.gif Still can go even higher? shocking.gif
*
SteelSeries 7G is now RM549 while Xai remains the same. However, prices for dealers definitely went up as well. Hopefully the pricing stabilizes, better still if it drops again in the near future. sweat.gif

Well, the Xai's tracking sensor is superb and highly recommended (minus any bling bling effect).

I believe that wearing the specs made by SS wont make such a big diff..
*
Well yea, although it does improve by a little but don't think the wearer would feel a major difference to it. Maybe it can provide some psychological advantage too. biggrin.gif

Just get 6gv2 if not ain't worth it unless u want the USB ports and jacks

Sell less then 100 sure got ppl buy
*
If can get a buyer at RM80 or so for the wrist rest then the 7G definitely worth buying since just topup a little for the extra audio and USB ports.

oh market price RM150 is it.. then i should mark up higher haha...NEW ONE WORR
*
There isn't any market price for the wrist rest since it isn't sold anywhere. What he meant was that basically from the 6Gv2's price, have to topup another RM150 to get the 7G. So what he was saying is probably around RM100 or so is reasonable.

sorry i provided wrong info for you guys  doh.gif  to myself
SRP for scope is  rm449
*
Somehow I feel that this product might be a "fail" product, as in won't be well accepted among the community, at least for the local community here. At price of RM449, I myself can't find a strong reason/point to get it. sweat.gif

A review on scope
Scope Review
*
Still skeptical of the stats, by wearing the Scope can have improvements to the in-game score. hmm.gif

Well this also have some other factors to consider, perhaps so right that when he put on the Scope, his form at that time suddenly was so good that he had improvements in the score.

QUOTE(Everdying @ May 29 2011, 11:10 PM)
it'll be a very long time before anyone here even reaches 20 million keystrokes.
that shouldnt be the main factor for buying a keyboard nowadays as most can already last for years.
typical office use also roughly 2 million keystrokes / yr...let alone gaming...and its safe to say ppl will probably get bored of their keyboards after 3-5yrs...
plus everyone knows ppl look at features first...
*
Plus not to forget there are a lot of mechanical keyboard options out there like FILCO, Ducky and many more all around similar price range with various Cherry MX switches to choose from. SteelSeries won't win the battle if the selling point is just the Cherry MX Black switch. sweat.gif

I guess the best for gaming would be the Cherry MX Red switch but if the user would like slightly more tactile feel that the Cherry MX Brown would be the next option.

okly are you kailoon??

any new mouse that will be release by steelseries soon?

Yes I am. blush.gif

By the looks of it, the next SteelSeries mouse should be the Mouse1.1 which was designed based on the community votes. It looks like the Xai though with color changes. laugh.gif

SteelSeries looks cool. I'm searching for a headset with microphone. Any suggestions?

If you like a cooler look then consider the Siberia V2. Otherwise, the 7H will give a more professional look. biggrin.gif

Hmm I'm looking for a price tag around RM250. Is there any headset that is in that price range?
*
For pure gaming purposes can look at either the 5Hv2 or Siberia V1 (if the dealer/retailer got stocks). Both should suit your budget well.
