IIRC, yeah. V1 is cloth, V2 is leather. And V1 really strangle you when you put it on your neck smile.gif V2 isn't that bad.

there is other difference too, like the mic for V1 is on the wire, whereas V2 one is a 'pull-out' type from the left earcup.
SQ on V2 is better too.
