Is it just me or did both the phone and tablet hands on here lags? Not as smooth as expected for dual core.

Lol, I'd take iPad anytime. Galaxy tab is so yesteryear and android 2.2 sucks on tablet form. Honeycomb I've seen so far, has been laggy/not as smooth as expected on Xoom and Galaxy 10.1.

This year, iPad2 or Playbook for me.

Wah, saket ati la... today went clubbing and dropped my phone on tar road. Chrome part is dented like shit at the bottom. I keep on dropping my phone!! Aghhh!! Too late for a protective casing already.. Wonder if the chrome part can change warranty or not?

hooray! this port seems promising! I am making the switch right now. So far my major concerns are data and bluetooth not working but these are minor bugs compared to cm7, although this is beta and that is alpha. anyway hooray for more aosp roms for galaxy S. bored of envying htc ported roms already.

very snappy and smooth. it's faster than every other roms I really like it but my major concern right now is int sdcard and bluetooth not working. been using for a few hours but back to doc's since int sdcard is vital to me and all gameloft games can't be played.

Yes, new speedmod comes with Voodoo sound drivers v4, meaning you can use the latest voodoo app. And sound recording is amazing!

Same GPU, I wonder if we could upgrade our GPU drivers... Probably we can get that kinda performance too.

Agreed. Point of attraction of Android phones are price range and form factor. I don't see how common users will end up with 3k SGS2 rather than an iPhone.

Haha I tested for a whole day, really happy with how smooth it is. The smoothest rom ever on a SGS! BUT, sdcard mount doesn't work. I'll wait for when it works I'll use it daily..

Btw guys, I tried the Vibrant port, and it seems much much MUCH faster than any Darky's or Doc's rom. More like the old Doc's rom with faster boot up speed, much more responsiveness and everything that I like. It is froyo 2.2 btw. But surprisingly so much faster than our roms...

Gmhafiz, not laggy at all with 200 apps here and its only beta. Carousel scrolling is great... A little tips... Shake ur phone when in carousel and u will see this...
