part number should be located on the manual of the HU or on the reverse of it.. After doing some research, it seems this HU is made in China not Japan.

IMO, the gps that came with our 2.0 sucks.. I have the older version that came with my fathers persona (2009) which i think is far better... Searching so susah laaa.. Have to type in like near identical.. The older version only type in keyword can find... Demm.. Need to by garmin lah like this... FYI i used it during last CNY from malacca to butterworth, penang island, ipoh, kampar, rawang, damansara, usj and back... Not so helpful... But can use lah... Sakit hati a bit.. Hahaha

Why, what was the reason given??? I think the SA is giving you crap... and prolly only "asks" his contact in JPJ about the number, and didnt bid...

AFAIK, all numbers can be tendered before the closing date... getting it or not will depends if your bid is the highest... the results are posted in all JPJ offices to show the winning bid... IE. YB Chua Soi Lek tendered for WXX X for RM1X,000.... this was posted...

Also, if the number is so important to you, you can always go to JPJ and buy the form and envelope, enclose a bank draft for 50% of you bid + RM10, and submit it to the counter.... then wait for the results...

Again, this process takes time as the bidding period is usually 1 day of the month till 3rd week, results out by 4th week, and the number can only be used the next month....

Ooo... then u wanted a "hot" number that some big shot hot shot oso wan lo....   

So how?? Wait one more month???

Mine is 888X... it depends on if your chosen number is also wanted by some YAB, YB, Tan Sri, Tun...
