I think if the guy asks the girl out on their first date, the guy should fetch her. After that for casual outings or 2nd, 3rd date it's ok to go with diff cars. As for me when I didn't have any car before this of course I expected the guy to fetch me all the time. Now when I already have a car, I'd drive on my own because easier and more convenient for both parties if don't live anywhere near.

As for friends, sometimes when they ask me to fetch them, if I'm driving along the way can lah. Before this it was so hard for me to turn them down but they pijak my kepala, so now I know when to say NO.
