I met a girl, then recently ask her out to meet other friends together. Although she own a car, but she still ask me to fetch from her house, instead of go by her own. Its just 2 of us go together.

Just wonder, girl always prefer guy to fetch them even just normal friend only? (working adult with car)

Take a step back and instead of asking if girls prefer guys to pick them up, ask why? All girls have their own version of a knight in shining armour. He symbolises above everything else, chivalry and I'll bet my last dollar than girls will tell you, it isn't common these days. Whether it's you arriving in your chariot to sweep her off to a night of passion and adventure, you opening the door for her, or pulling her chair out, all girls appreciate acts of courtesy from a gentleman.

Unless you're occasionally cynical, you'll forget to include that women also do that excercise a form of control.

Mental emasculation, and yes, women kept it a secret from many men that they are secretly controlling men with their private parts.

In the context of the subject matter, it's a nice gesture nonetheless, being non-cynical of course. Also, I feel it's safer than to have a girl drive back in the wee hours of the morning especially, after a night out. Maybe I'm old school that way.

In terms of being manipulated, there are occasions where allowing yourself to be, turns out to be mutually beneficial to both parties smile.gif

Too many variables. The bottom line is, that I choose to be a gentleman whenever possible with full confidence in my ability to know when I'm being manipulated.

It's like I said in my first post, chivalry is dying, or is dead. Don't mistake being a gentleman with being a doormat. I just don't agree with the notion that it's fine to have you gf driving around during the wee hours of the morning, just because other girls do. Well guess what? Other girls aren't my gf. Well when I get one anyway.
