It's only RM50 for 2nd hand pads... I just try my luck actually... but I also do some research, the overall AD900 pad size a bit bigger, near to 1cm. AD900 around 11cm and SR850 is about 10cm+. So lucky fit nicely and not so much force needed to fit it.

I can hear clearer mid and high, low is about the same. Maybe because original inner pad for SR850 is thicker. With this one I see the driver inside.

Ah, that's useful. I'm using HD669 by the way. Ill leave it on whenever I sleep then  biggrin.gif

Not so good actually because will weaken your driver really fast. All electronic stuff have MBTF (mean time before failure), the longer you use, the fast it's will fail. I also sleep with headphone on my head from time to time but I only set playlist maybe for 1 or 2 album.

Hehe nymerine, just clamp ur headphone onto the top of your casing for an hour or two. Sure comfortable already. If not, clamp for another hour or two. biggrin.gif

Or you can just constantly stretching it.

What I do is, charge my walkman to full at night. Before I went to the office, I just play all the song in the walkman until battery dry. Normally that would take 1 and half day to finish.

If you use the link I give, there is some rest period in between, so no need actually.

My headphone only rest when I sleep or working. At work, I use another one that always in my notebook bag.

And about the failure, you probably upgraded it long before it dies. XD

Don't say that bro... I saw a few sent back to warranty for repair... and that is not cheap brand some more.

The owner who sell me his pad sent back his headphone for repair with the original pad, that why take time for me to get the pad.

I just use Foobar2K with V shape EQ on my notebook... other player like Winamp don't give me a good sound...

with added amp like Fiio E3, E5, E11 or CMOY... (keep changing the amp I use).

But C30 comes with an AMP built in. I thought we cannot connect it to external amp? Not very sure.
*
Offcourse every DAP got AMP inside.. if no AMP how you gonna get the sound from the DAP.
C30 use MAX9722 Opamp - 130mW per Channel into 32Ω
enough for 32Ω but if use with higher Ω, the output will smaller that's why need to have external amp.

Some DJ series headphone have up 1500mW input, with 130mW output from C30, consider really low. Need amp too here.

I can put volume to the max at C30 (volume 31) if I use with Philips headphone without any amp.

Even if I use C30 (full volume) + Fiio E11 (EQ 2, HIGH gain, full volume), my Philips headphone still can handle it very well. thumbup.gif

Never try with any Superlux variant.

If I'm not wrong, C30 is very similar to Hippo gumstick. I remember I saw someone in this forum said it can drive 300 ohm cans fairly well. Maybe I should search for it. Later. Eat first xD
*
C30 use Class AB opamp, Gumstick use Class A Opamp. Class A can drive even 600Ω.

Did you know gumstick have less operation time because the opamp use more power than C30?

QUOTE(walabies @ Apr 25 2011, 04:54 PM)
Able to drive Beyerdynamic DT880 600ohm too. Very surprising class A amp.
*
The questions is.. if you can afford 300Ω or 600Ω headphone, do you still want to use it with C30? I suggest to get a better source (player) and better AMP.

Superlux is for someone who want to enjoy good music with less money need to spent. thumbup.gif
