under settings --> connectivity --> settings --> did u set data use in home network = wlan only?

That connection fail because it searched for wifi first, then only uses the integrated/assisted gps. On my first usage, it took longer for satellite to lock, about 10 mins, after that everytime I use it it locks less than 2 mins. Are you inside or outside a building ?
