i having a big dilemma for choosing between 70300 & 70400... ><" last night went to sony wing try out both lenses, never thought 70400 will be such heavy after zoom to 400 is kind of hard to take a steady shoot.... 300 is kind of lite & small picture still looking sharp.... but less 100mm~ anyone can help??＞＜＂

kuro0314, both lenses optimum usages are meant for outdoors, under bright sun... i've tried the 70-400, its quite light IMHO, just that the diameter is a bit larger than the 70-300, so gripping on the 70-300 is more ergonomic.

arc1414, hahaha... the 1635Z is poison... if cannot afford, then go for 16-80Z if you dont plan to go full frame...
