hi guys and gals..

i have 2 GPs, one's weight is steadily increasing (exactly 3 months old male - 630gm), while another is practically stagnant (now 4 months and 1 week old female - stuck at ~420gm for the past month)

i know female GPs are a bit lighter, but is this normal, despite the age difference?

as a note, they are both active, eating healthily (lettuce, bell pepper, tomatoes, cucumber) and weekly treats (fruits).. feed them about 3-4 times a day..

would appreciate a little feedback from you all.. thanks in advance!

it doesn't wanna eat or drink

Normally male will go up to 800 gram above for the one breed in Malaysia. My Totty now 1.2kg and its quite steady now and not really gaining any more weight so far
else for female i think it would be around 700-800gram. But yours only 4 month old, she is still young I bet her weight will going up soon.

cucumber not daily ya and not in large portion.

Just give you gp time to adapt to the new environment. Left the food, hay and pellet in the cage and also water. Give it for 2-3 days tp adapt. Your new gp still afraid and cautious to the new environment.

it's it in the parking lvl of Bangsar shopping centre (on the way to Damansara from bangsar)

i jz bought a gp, she so scared. everytime i wan catch her and hold her she is like unwilling. how? and always hide in a hole, doesn't want to come out. let her walk open area also go sumwhere else hide. it's already 4-5days. any guide to teach begineer to rear gp?

hmm they are like that in the beginning, takes a long time to really build trust. Mine still a bit scared of me even after 2 months but if someone else is in the room, she'll go hide behind me or under my palm if i put it in the cage.

can guinea pig and hamster live along?

No. While GP are not exactly hostile, they are big and can possibly injure the hamster.

Plus, their diet are different. And one eating out another's diet could be harmful.

jz now let my gp watch gp video in youtube. keep make sound, but i not sure what sound is tat. hapi? hahahaha

why is my little guinea pig pooping non stop? = =
i just put her on my lap...then she just keep on pooping...
after pooping walk walk then poop again...then pee...is this normal? lol
